  1. Does anybody know why the park website said that somebody in your group needs to have the app on their phone? I've always had it on my phone anyway, but I think the only time I used it this weekend was to activate our meal / drink plans. We just scanned our cards like normal to enter the park. I know the health questionnaire is on the app, but does your questionnaire completed status actually link to your pass? It seems like it is there just to get you to read the questions ahead of time. They ask the same questions in the temperature tents. So I wonder if the app is actually required in any way.
  2. I promise he had no trouble breathing. He was the type of person who just enjoys being a jerk to people he doesn’t know.
  3. Just saw a 40 year old “man” yelling at high school age workers, for like ten minutes, in The Beast line when they told him to put on his mask. Security came eventually, I’m not sure if they escorted him out in the end. Hopefully they did.
  4. That report refers to your lifetime odds of dying in a car crash. Not your odds from dying in one trip in a car.
  5. Almost 1 out of 100 people die in car crashes on their way to the park??
  6. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's a 1.5-2 hour line most of the day, with limited ride capacity and everyone trying to ride it. But, who knows. I agree, hopefully some people who go tomorrow can post a quick update about wait times.
  7. Did you save a reservation into the app? I wouldn't think that would make a difference, but I guess it's possible that the Health Screening only shows up if there is a reservation saved. Is your app updated? On my phone I show that an update was installed on June 23, if you have an older version maybe the Health Screening won't show up.
  8. If I open the app and go to the "Me" tab, and scroll down just a little bit, it shows the Health Screening.
  9. My assumption is that the Orion line will be long all day, and that other rides probably won't be too bad because of limited attendance in the park. Could be wrong, but that's my thinking. We have a 10:30 spot also, and we're going to try to ride Orion first thing, and then probably not ride it again that day.
  10. Webcams just went down... are we getting the Orion cam back?
  11. I don't really care that much how strictly they enforce masks in other areas of the park, but I really hope they enforce them in lines.
  12. Pretty sure it's from cancellations, as it's never more than a handful of spots at a time.
  13. Well, based on those same calculations, it would still take 13 hours if they were running at full capacity. Luckily only a relatively small percentage will be in line for Orion at any given time (even on the first few days).
  14. After I completed my reservation, I had to click on the "Add Mobile Tickets and Vouchers" button under the Me tab, and then enter my order confirmation number. After I entered that, the individual reservations showed up.
  15. Maybe at 1:00. If it doesn't happen at 1:00, then I will say maybe at 2:00. If it doesn't happen at 2:00, then I will say maybe at 3:00...
  16. At this point, who even knows if haunt will take place as normal this year.
  17. It seems that you can. From the FAQ on the KI website: Once the inventory is available to the general public, if a reservation is cancelled, that space will be added to the inventory available online. And periodically, we may be able to adjust total inventory or inventory by time slot. You will be able to check the reservation portal when it opens for information and updates of available inventory.
  18. Your whole point is that most people only wear masks for virtue signaling. I'm saying that's not the case. Not sure what other point you want me to respond to? Is there some kind of rule that if I respond to a post, I need to address every sentence individually from the post I'm responding to?
  19. Glad we agree. People can post social media pictures of themselves wearing masks to encourage others to do it too, because it promotes public safety, not just because it's the trendy thing to do.
  20. Diamondback testing including splashdown taking place now!
  21. I don't think anybody is wearing a mask only as a virtue signaling device. People who are wearing masks are doing so either to keep themselves safe, or because they are required to. Maybe for some people it acts as a virtue signal, but why does it function as a virtue signal? Because it helps keep people safe. I don't think anyone is wearing masks because they want to promote safety, if they don't actually think that masks help keep people safe.
  22. I think it depends on the park. I know it’s comparing apples to oranges, but when the Cincy Zoo opened up reservations, most of the spots were filled up pretty quickly for a few weeks out.
