  1. 5G cellular may be your saving grace, when it’s available locally.
  2. I pay the same you do for 50DL/5UL and no data cap. Fioptics is great!!!
  3. I’m glad I paid for the discs for RDR2. 90GB install... it would have been many days.
  4. I’d do Philo. We do Hulu & Philo here along with Amazon, Netflix and a SiliconDust HDHOMERUN, and my computer as a Plex server. My question would be, are you sure it’s your internet and not your router?
  5. Revenge of The Beast or Beasts Revenge... I’ll bet we see it at some point.
  6. Some of us “can”. If you’re in the panhandle of Florida right now, you might have one, but it’s doubtful it works consistently. Always have a backup communications plan. Most don’t understand that in reality the cellular grids are about as fragile as the power grid.
  7. After the 30th, we’ll see if that “scam” still stands. I think they were ahead of their time. They wanted unisex plugs and cords before USB-C was even a thought. Had they played it right, they probably could’ve gotten everyone to use lightning instead of USB-C. This harkens back to the first home video standard of Sony Betamax vs VHS. It was a harsh lesson for Sony to learn. I’m just glad they got it right the second time in BluRay vs HD-DVD.
  8. Apple doesn’t have proprietary wireless charging. Their devices fit the Qi standard. There’s a reason they still charge, since air power was never released and by the sounds of things, may never be. This is Google on their own power trip. [emoji848]
  9. I’m good with that. Open raceway involving all pathways in the park! That’s a great idea!
  10. Better idea!!! We can just buy big drones and fly the employees across the park!!!
  11. We can just convert it all to cog railway. Problem solved!!!!!
  12. I think 1 is plenty. 4 would be too many. Plus, you could add one train with a more modern look and theming along the track is cheap.
  13. I have the final transportation solution. Expand the train and add more stations. They can run it behind Crypt, under Beast lift hill, behind Racer and put in a Station where KMAA is going. Extend behind FoF/X, past AE, around Banshee and another station into AZ. Spur line to dorms with turn around and another station. New entrance to park with overhead R.R. Trestle. Follow front access road back down to SC. Makes perfect sense and costs little!!! [emoji848]
  14. I think dorm transportation should be either Hyperloop or Zip Line. Either also function as an attraction.
  15. No. Phantom Theater had original characters and isn’t even in the same realm as haunted mansion. In haunted mansion the ghosts are meant to look like real people. Phantom theater didn’t have that.
  16. Then it would be just a generic copy of a Disney ride. No thanks.
  17. How chilly? Isn’t there a minimum operating temperature for most coasters?
  18. Is this the exact some ride as C.P.? If that’s the case, then a second set of updated prints is all this is. I expect KI will modify the signage to their liking. There are numerous items marked throughout the prints to consult with customer as to what they want.
  19. Here’s the station elevation views, for those that can’t find them. Don’t pay attention to the signage. It’s usually done generic for the drawings.
  20. I see it now. From the looks of things, it looks like there will be dispensers at the gas station. It talks about wiring for an emergency shutoff, which is a requirement for gas pumps. So the gas station will be a fuel and work space as well. Also, further review shows an all glass garage door on the front of the gas station. Maybe to give it the feel of an actual service Station?
  21. I went through the entire plans and that would appear correct. There’s a full size garage door and exterior door on the end of the building that faces Racer. Items of interest in the plans: 1.) station elevation looks amazing. It looks well themed to fit Coney Mall perfectly. 2.) There are ceiling fans in the electrical plan for the station, so you won’t roast in there. 3.) There’s a note for contractor to bid a color changing lighting package with controller for the”Gas Station” building. Maybe this will become part of the extended season rides? 4.) I didn’t see any mention of fueling the vehicles, or the items necessary to do it. There’s no listing I could find in the plans for a tank and pump setup, so that might be interesting.
  22. My guess is the track itself will be between 1300-2000’ in length. I used a 10’ wide track, even though that could be too wide. With terrain, this shouldn’t be a big deal, since I doubt the ride will be flat.
  23. But we can’t verify that. Apple isn’t exactly forthcoming about info like that. The other stuff I already knew. But if they throttle the processor on older batteries, there isn’t any reason why they couldn’t slow charging on older batteries.
  24. This is Cincinnati- nothing is guaranteed as the weather goes. We dropped 50 degrees in a week. They wait too long and they will be waiting for spring and opening in May. With a month of concrete cure time, someone has to be doing the math. It’s not a purely simple project. The rail still has to be anchored to the concrete and they will need a garage and fueling area. Depending upon the fuel tank, above vs below ground, they are subject to all Ohio Fire Code/BUSTRs regulations. It’s not a coaster project, but it’s not something minor either.
