  1. CP guest services last Saturday stated to me that CP P pass benefits are not available to other park P+ pass holders.

No surprise there. I wonder how many P passes have sold. I have an all-park session FL+, but have yet to see anyone in a FL queue with a single ride FL+ ticket. CP's Millennium Lounge was as empty as usual last week. Personally, I'd rather queue 20 minutes and ride MF, than relax in the nearby lounge.

  2. Based on this thread and calls to CF parks, my educated guess is that each KI Prestige+ (P+) benefit will be available to KI P+ pass holders at other CF parks that also offer that benefit. For example, if KI has P+ preferred parking and CP has P+ preferred parking, then a KI P+ visitor will receive P+ preferred parking at CP. If CF parks introduce additional P+ benefits, they will be available to all P+ pass holders. Or maybe this is just a fantastic notion or vain hope of mine?

My friends were excited to check out the 5th item on the list of Pass Details for the new Prestige program :P

Last I saw there are still Dinosaurs Alive! Pokemon Go PokeStops in that defunct area of KI. Good luck spinning them thought.

  4. If the Prestige+ benefits apply only to your home park (KI for me), I'll revert to a Platinum pass in 2024. $160 more (for 2023) for a Prestige+ pass isn't worth it for VIP access and preferred parking if both have limited availability due to demand.

Just upgraded my 2023 passes, completely forgot that the front of line passes aren't delayed till next year. I'm excited to try them now.

With the two free bring a friend passes annually, did this year count as one annual, or do i have to wait till next year?

I upgraded my Platinum to a Prestige+. I read that I'm entitled to one bring a friend pass this year and then two next year.

  6. I upgraded by 2022 Platinum pass and my daughter's 2022 Gold pass to 2023 Prestige+ today. We are going to CP tomorrow. We will see what KI Prestige+ benefits work at CP. At the very least, I hope my daughter's upgraded pass gives her entrance to CP.

  7. For me, September weekends at KI are magical. The days are warm and the evenings tepid. The cool air in your face makes a night ride on The Beast just that more exhilarating. At closing time, your walk home in the dusk along the little Europe of International Street and past the synchronized displays of the Royal Fountains reminds you that KI is not just a destination for thill seekers, but more about the cumulation of individual experiences you enjoy during your day at the park.

Well I read somewhere that the Flight of Fear has "roomier" seats on the even numbers. But I haven't heard of that since I've been there last and was wondering if that was true or if you've heard anything about it. FOF is one of my favorite coasters, and I don't want to be embarrassed if they can't staple me in.

FoF is definitely roomier in even rows. In odd-row seats, it can be difficult to position your feet under the restraint mechanism and lower your legs under the restraint lap bar. If you have anything in your pockets, good luck, but that's what lockers are for.

  9. Hello CoasterGirl. Many of the rides have 'test' seats at their queue entrances. Ride attendants can assist you at those entrances. In my observation, there is no rhyme or reason why people can and cannot fit certain rides. Perhaps, try starting with Diamondback - if you can ride her (and she is awesome), you should be able to ride Banshee and Orion. Then perhaps move on and try some wooden coasters. In my opinion, avoid Flight of Fear - the ride has long queues, small train seats, and is overhyped.

  10. Overall, I prefer Orion over DB because it has more elements and less rattle. However, a back-row seat first drop on DB is hard to beat. I rode MF today for first time in nine months. For a 22-year old coaster, it is as good as Orion, maybe better.
