  1. OUDITIONS? AUDITIONS! Dictionary to be thrown at whom?
  2. if you want to rough it, you can bring tents and camp out across from the raven at lake rudolphs campground, or stay in a local motel $36.99/room if i am right. Its not that bad... admission is 36.95, and if you bring any Pepsi product, or a bunny bread wrapper, you can get a small price cut, during may, its 7 dollars off... even on the busiest day, you can do everything, and the seatbelts on the coasters are large enough for everyone... rarely are there "turnaways"
  3. a friend of mine, he called it that, i thought of it but he calls it that... see, i worked at Walgreens, and I would stock the "lady aisle" meaning preggers tests, hosiery, pads, "cotton sticks," deo, razors...and condoms... the largest of which is MAGNUM XL
  4. Hey, I am returning to Ohio this saturday, may 13, I wont be there long, but I surely will be in the area for the afternoon. I should be in the park by 5:00 or 5:30 I know its not much, but I'm a pass holder now... and I will be visiting frequently during the season... I have missed Delirium, and I hear its excellent now. I can't wait, because that day, in the morning, I get to ride the Voyage, then at night, I get to ride cool thrill rides like Delirium and Tomb Raider. then the next day, I wont be at PKI, I will be in Sandusky... in the afternoon I should be freed up to ride some world class rides... especially magnum xl 200, the condom coaster? as it has been dubbed.
  5. Trav'lers from far and wide to come and share the Pilgrims Pride, here it is without delay, and now its time to sail away... Yes, it was totally fantastic, and beyond words...
  6. So I sure did ride the Voyage today... ...without delay, and now its time to SAIL AWAY! and I only rode it 5 times... its intense btw... Klockster, the 7-2 airtime is WAYYYY Better than 7-2 Air on Vortex... fyi The triple down has to be the single best portion... I cant even describe it... its excellent.
  7. you do know that Southern yellow pine does not grow between SOB and the Lodges right? It is southern yellow pine used in coasters... not traditional Kings Island wood.
  8. Kewl i cant wait to mow it Thats intense You guys are weird I thought it was pretty funny too.
  9. what?? did you upload from a blackberry device?? No, the motel I'm staying in has high speed internet. I ended the day with 50 rides. Come down here sometime and ride the Voyage! I'm a pass holder
  10. what?? did you upload from a blackberry device??
  11. I cannot choose. but I rode Slingshot first. I loved it.
  12. to let everyone know, it has had riders... http://www.holidayworld.com/voyage_video.html Plus, you can get a desktop wallpaper on that same page Iannot wait, this thing looks intense!
  13. I though it costed more to power up a LIM than run a change lift all day. Some one tould me that the power grid around PKD can not run four LIM coasters. Plus they might be tring to keep the cost down so the park looks good with money when they sell it. I'm sure they are doing a secret rennovation to Flight of Fear at PKD, did they ever say for certain that the power grid will not support it? lets be optimistic.
  14. Who didnt know what launched FoF? LIM Linear Induction Motor... not a Magnet persay, but an electromagnet, read what PKINickRoedl said. FoF stops with standard brake fins... anyone can see that.
  15. I thought the perspectives were neat, my favorite was the shot of top guns drop. <glee>
  16. I have somewhere to be on these dates :-( I get back to the area on May 27, day two of HWN, but I cant spend it there. then the next day is a day spent with my girlfriend, since I work so far away from her, and we never see each other. Live Long and ride the Voyage, I hear its extremely intense. pace yourselves.

  18. very true, the major island is pretty far away Pelee Island is a Ferry spot, Sandusky residents, locals, and tourists can easily take a ferry, and travel to Pelee, then to Canada, but take your Passport or Birth Certificate, and dont forget the Driver's Liscence or another gov't issued ID.
  19. I think one of the only promoted parks, which does not "tackily" promote the name is Busch Gardens, they take the Busch name and glorify it with Gardens, making it sound like a thing of beauty, and they theme the two parks... one to Europe, and one to Africa, featuring a Zoo. They would have to change names completely if the owners changes.
  20. I am digging this love of the Awesome 17 Year old Hyper Coaster, the first in the world. Never been, but I gotta show my love.
  21. My only comment is: Be sure to count the number of cars... Um, thats in the brakes Clearly, and te borders of the image include a large space in front of, but just barely cuts out a half a centimeter from the back of the whoel train. its just one train dude... like he said, 6 cars per train, 3 rows per car.
  22. Ok, so... you see that there are several moments experienced underground, and before i continue, It has 24.2 Seconds of Airtime If we number them from left to right... we have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 tunnels 1, just past the "North Spaghetti Bowl" Turnaround 2, just after the flat segment "Safety Brakes" 3, slightly after that last one 4, under the station house 5, at the far right edge Tunnel 1 gets entered twice... Tunnel 2 gets enterd twice, but as it leaves the second time, it is suddenly in tunnel 3 Tunnel 3 is entered once from ouside and once from tunnel 2 via a wooden connector tunnel above ground (Cedar) Tunnel 4 is built into the basement of the Voyage Station House (Queue Area) Tunnel 5 is under the path in Thanksgiving, it is a welcome sign to the new area. And since we have the picture... 90 degree #1... is in the north turn around... we will assume be standing at the low left corner of the "map" and trailing rightward and curving up, you will jolt to the right, and then there is a 90 there, go about 100 foot down the track, and there is a 90 the other way (dont worry, the rendering was made well before the track design was altered, and before station art was conceived) once you get under the peak of the lift hill, you make the 3rd and last 90 degree turn, then you jump and ive into the last 2 tunnels... its going to be awesome, i can tell!
