  1. It may be possible. In 2008 when working on the ride in the drive box we have panel that shows the speed of trains in the shed (long stretch of covered track), the quick dip (the lowest point in the ride), and the entry into the final helix. During some Haunt days I recall seeing hits of speeds at 73-75mph at the quick dip. During colder temperature they would remove the trims at the mid course.
  2. Tomb Raider The Rides sign and Plaza continues to be my favorite!
  3. It's a bit much to try and dissect this (or spend time on) to even come to any conclusions regarding this. It may not even be a delivery. It easily could be relocations of already owned products.
  4. Cool yes, but it's a joke to sell it at that price! I'm sure some hardcore enthusiasts will dish out the cash but I just can't see myself being a proud owner a small piece of track for that price. Much like watching a live broadway or movie, at the end if you can forget about the price you paid because of the enjoyment you got out of the product provided to you I consider that a good investment. This I would have on a shelf as a looming reminder of spending $200.
  5. Much like PKIC acquired PKIU I ponder the idea of perhaps KIC doing the same for Carowinds Connection. This site since I joined in 2004 has grown so much, I feel the next logical step in it's growth is to extend to the fansite base for Cedar Fair (which currently there is none).
  6. Well if we can pick MT I choose Tomb Raider The Ride
  7. I didn't laugh. I'm guessing no I'll intent was meant but If you come out of left field with responses like that when their is little history of that behavior it leaves me to question. If he were running an account like Kentucky Kingdoms twitter a response like that would be much more forgiving/funny/expected
  8. Was able to capture the photo below of the suspect trying to flee in an unmarked car.
  9. I think we all understood what the original poster meant, not about the actual length but the time. I think Orion will be a great ride when I get the chance to ride. But some of the reviews coming in with their minor notes on it's length I've seen are something I'm not ignoring. Still, it does look like a fun ride regardless.
  10. Didn't we already have a ride with a Jeep at the entrance? #TRTR
  11. Sure was! Just like the return of the water feature that year at the turn-around cave. As for what music it was Joshua... I don't recall the entire playlist but it was a collection of music about 30-40 minutes long.
  12. In 2008 there was station music. It was a mixture of adventure / western style music. Most notably...
  13. Wow, I gotta say the 2000s maps were the best. Definitely felt a "Yuck" as soon as it transitioned from 2010 to 2011. Great video!
  14. Orion: Time to rethink that whole TEOTWAWKI idea... #toosoon
  15. Hey bud your link does not go though.
  16. Tomb Raider: The Ride was a dark ride that catered to the teens/adults and was immensely popular during the TRTR years, reaching upwards of an hour plus wait at park closing time. I do think the park is missing a great family dark ride / high thrill dark ride in its lineup especially since we have lost TRTR and Action Theatre.
  17. I'm still sitting on the full indoor / outdoor queue music from TRTR and its SFX and some other rare titles. I did upload the outdoor queue music to YouTube long ago but ever since YouTube went so far succumbing to copyright claims it was taken down. I will link below my Channel which has the Indoor cave/AntiChamber music. But if anyone is wondering the outdoor/indoor soundtrack is a mix if the music from the motion picture BARAKA, Jumanji (90s) and the official score from the first Paramount Tomb Raider movie soundtrack. Links: Tomb Raider Official Score: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYrqCMVZ8Iw Baraka Official Soundtrack: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbsE-gEI1iA&list=OLAK5uy_nzCYCHbvwPu3Cqz8xoczr-PRbX8_zHBqY Jumanji Score (first few seconds of outdoor music): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nwH5osqciE&list=PLH9C08qrQ7S4BjvE977oZOoX52EumrXEF TRTR Indoor Music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1TrbbtXwzOs And the full TRTR Collection playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLHe-L-8ZZ9rCTcW9aRcpgHFJHbll_d2-C *Additionally a POV is on that collection playlist as well. Its dark most of the time but those that rode it will tell you the dark parts were some of the best!
  18. These are the raw files most likely. How does one get raw files? There's really only one way, at some point someone needs to take them. These have been handed down and shared for quite a while, I myself remember 15 years ago being shown the raw PT and TRTR sound bits.
  19. Yeah, looking a Orion there was absolutely no need to cut down as many trees as they did. No wonder that Mystic Timbers tree is upset!
  20. I miss the charm of Rivertown before Diamondback was built. Whereas now it feels more industrial and modern (the exact opposite of Rivertowns humble beginnings). If this Coaster would have kept that charm I would have gladly preferred this over Diamondback.
  21. So happy to see the return of the gallery and can only imagine the work to bring ALL those photos to the new one. Especially now linked to the main menu. Is it possible to group galleries of the same nature to an album like the old one? Right now it is very scattered. I'd also like to see view counts and the return of comments. As for the other notes I had Topgun1993, TombraiderTy and KIghostguy touched upon great notes
