  1. I really hope we don't get another woodie, 3 of them were great, but 4 of them is pushing it a little. And winterfest is definately coming back. And it should be pretty cool from some of the details I'm hearing.
  2. Boarder Cafe' will be where the old Manderin was. It will serve Mexican food.
  3. Chippery will be where the new Bakery will be located And the location where Graters is used to be a Merchandise Shop, I believe they sold Beanie Babies.
  4. Just so everyone knows where everything used to be...The parenthesis shows what the location is now. Preston T Tuckers [Happy Days Diner] Sharkeys [ Crocadile Dundees Outback Shack ] Oktoberfest Gardens [ Bubba Gumps Shrimp Shack] Kafe Kilimanjaro [ Stunt Crew Grill ] Sweet Tooth [ Subway ] All Star [ Boarder Cafe' ] Skips Bagels [ Boarder Cafe' ] Manderin [ Boarder Cafe' ] Chippery [ Bakery ] Mexican Cantina [ Skyline Footlong Express ] Magilla Gorilla's Grill [ Chick fil a ] UDF [ Hollywood Mini Dounts ]
  5. yes, a very small one on the right side of the fountain where Hollywood mini donuts are now located.
  6. I miss the Cheddarwurst at OKT. Gardens. But I'm glad we got Bubbas!
  7. Would Intamin trains make SOB any smoother? If so, I can see this happening. I think PKI is definately going to do something about that big waste of space in the near future. Look what new trains did for FOF, If new trains will do the trick, than why not?
  8. Ah...the Cicadas weren't that bad
  9. It doesn't look that slow in the video. I think it will feel faster than it looks because of all the twists and turns. Is the surprise that it goes upside down? wasn't there a part in the tunnel in the movie where they almost went upside down?
  10. KI and CP are two totally different types of parks. Cedar Point is more of a resort, whereas PKI is closer to your typical regional theme park. It really boils down to what you want out of a park. If you want a family atmosphere, with a close drive, you're probably more KI. But I'm more of a thrills kinda guy. And i like the resort atmosphere. I know you guys are going to hate me for this, but I give this award to Cedar Point. They not only have more coasters, but a lot more thrilling coasters. And the view of the lake from most of their rides is incredible, especially power tower. Don't get me wrong, I love Ki, been there every year of my life. But CP is like my vacation spot.
  11. Ya'know. I noticed the Chippery's absence last weekend and didn't really think anything of it at first. Does anyone know if they'll still be selling this season? I didn't get a chance to try the chips last season and was really looking forward to it this year. Chippery won't be selling anything in the park this year!
  12. ^ I think you're right, but I can only keep my hopes up for that B&M inverted that I've wanted for so long...perhaps a heavily themed inverted
  13. Speaking of lights out, has anyone ever ridden The Beast at night with the lights out? Its the most awesome ride of your life!
  14. ^ I agree with the Chef...There is a reason that the only parks open year round are in warm climates.
  15. From a non rides associate point of view, I'd have to give the best ride to the The Beast at night. Its the most incredible ride every whipping through the woods at night especially throught the tunnels on the helix. Also The Beast Crew gets you hyped up and makes everyone scream. I would have to give The Vortex best ride of the day time though. Blazin line speed and 6 inversions is nothing to miss.
  16. ^I agree about the lush tropical bs...I was expecting a whole new feel to the waterpark, not a big paint job, a new ride, and a ride makeover.
  17. Actually TTD did roll back the very first time I saw it. But it was cool because a bunch of people got out of line and I didn't have to wait as long
  18. That is an awesome idea! And yes, my legs do feel like pins and needles when I get off. But personally I don't ride DZ anymore...it scares me. Anyone else notice its slow self destruction over the years? First they stopped spinning it. Then it got slower and slower going up the first part of the ride. Then it got slower going up the majority of the ride. Now its slow the whole way, and super slow right before it gets close to the top. And it may just be me, but do the brakes catch you sooner than they used to? In either case, DZ scares me, the leaning seats would really freak me out.
  19. If we do get a new campground, I hope its better than the one we had with more amenites.
