  1. Well most places offer free kids when staying with adults so a rollaway bed or such will suffice for you if needed. As for tickets, order them at AAA or pick them up at a AAA store near the park if you dont have have time to order. this is if you are a member obviously. The rest of the questions I'm not sure of.
  2. O yes, last year I stayed at the Quality Inn off exit 19. The location is perfect. It is right off the highway but close to so many restaurants on the other side of the highway. The place was being completely renovated last year and offers a free HOT breakfast too. The outdoor pool was quite nice if I may add. You just have to deal with the hard to understand foreigners that work there. No offense to them as they are trying hard, but it did make checking in and out complicated.
  3. Wow, there are some amazing deals there...too bad they dont extend to the end of June when i'm going. Anyone know where I coudl find some that would fit my dates?
  4. Well whats the Bill and Ted show like lol and how do people compare it to last year. I hope they did'nt change the songs. I loved them all
  5. I read nothing but horrible reviews of that Kings Luxury Inn that you are talking about. I'm suggesting that you avoid that at all costs lol.
  6. There were some true statements though....the writer did mention that the entrance to PKI is much nicer than the concrete Jungle of CP's. It is also true that PKI does not have the lake and bay views that CP does. Thats a pretty fair and true statement there. I also agree that the posters in Action Zone are pretty cheesy. They weren't really bashing the rides here either that much. I don't know how you can say that. It's purely biased what the writer had to say. Kings Island has Oktoberfest Lake and Swan Lake! Oh come on you're telling me that those two small lakes have the same atmosphere that Lake Erie has? In now way am I biasing CP but that is the only thing that I like about their park more.

  8. I agreed with some of the comparisons about the parks though....and yes Fishers is nice lol
  9. Hey my cousins live in Fishers lol
  10. SS@R is def a longer cycle than Troika at C.P. Its one of my fav cool off rides with the nice breeze. Those are the classic huss rides (troika, enterprise, tristar) that I love and hope that they stay for a long time.
  11. Yeah we stayed off of that exit you are talking about...luckily our hotel was right off the highway as we tried looking for restaurants further down the road. The traffic was horrible. It is a nice area though.
  12. Welp, my friends and I are traveling up there at the end of June with a four hour drive...we're staying there two days so we can do everything and not rush. We're staying ten miles from the park in the town of Sharonville at a place called Livinn suites. It looks nice and has a free breakfast. Includes a mic and fridge in the room..all of this for 54 a night! lol I cant help u on much more for the park..
  13. Well, after spending a while doing a search on here and the fact that I'm pretty sure I found them on here a while ago...does anyone know where I can find those two videos that were on the discovery channel a while ago about the top wooden coasters? There was a link to the SOB and Beast ones but I cant find them anymore.
  14. Lol be nice to the kid...according to his profile, he's pretty much as old as FOF itself.
  15. yeah this happened last year....when we took the four hour drive with my fam to the park....Delirium, which we all wanted to ride the most wasn't open....now that this year i'm going with my friends for a few days I told them how great FOF was....so help me god if that isn't open lol..but o well
  16. lol wow soo whoever mentioned it being closed for a month....dot dot dot
  17. Omg it better be open when I go the 29th and 30th this month...I mean i wouldn't see why it would take that long.
  18. actually the scrambler is the greatest
  19. Yeah pretty weird how nice the park is, then you look at the surrounding areas of it . Its a shame that they took out the Garden stage and Swing Around that was on top of it for a cheesy diving show. If there is one thing that the park is lacking its good entertainment.
  20. So, when i'm bored I tend to want to look at random things... would anyone happen to have or know where to find footage of the school of rock show here. I liked it so much that I want to watch it at home lol.
  21. So whats the average wait time for SOB now? If its 50 mins now..I can imagine it being much worse ont he 29th and 30th of june when i'm there
  22. O yes I agree....but due to the lack of crowds that lot wasn't open.
  23. well actually you are right.... its just at a ridiculously far distance from the gate so most ppl who go there spend the 5 for much less of a distance.
  24. This was my schools Kennywood picnic day er w/e they call it. Living 40 mins from here with traffic, the ride can be somewhat boring and lets be honest, you dont go through the best areas to get to the park. Anyways, we arrive at the park and pay a very reasonable $5 for parking. The new entrance they built last year is gorgeous. Now onto the park. One of the things that I love about how you enter the park is, once past the entrance, you go down a very ghetto looking ramp/tunnel area and once you get past the tunnel you are in a whole new world. Onto the sudden negatives about today. One of my fav rides, Aero360, was closed today and looks to be like that for a while. Phantoms Revenge was only running one train so the usually short line doubles. The first ride we hit is the Magic Carpet. This ride sure does surprise you with its sudden and fast drops. Great ride. Next comes King Kahuna aka the nut crusher "guys who have been on reg Huss topspins know what i'm talking about'. It was running a jet free but much more intense cycle in the morning with three more flips than the time I rode it later on. Still fun though. Next, we go over to volcano. Its nice to see that they put so much money into the theming of an enterprise because I absolutely love these rides but it seems as if parks are getting rid of them. Def one of my all time favs. We try to go over to Swinghot, the new S&S screamin swing, but its testing at the moment. We take a walk over to the Thunderbolt next. The line was pretty long but moved surprisingly fast despite it having one train. The moment before we are about to board the train they throw on the second one, which later on putt he wait down to minutes. Its a semi fun semi rough classic that is so much better at night as the valley has no lights and you never know when you go down the hills. As we leave the ride we see Swingshot working one arm with people on it. You know wat comes next.... As we get in line we notice how loud this thing is. That compressed air sure is loud! lol The wait was pretty long as there was only one arm working. The ride frequently shut down during the day. The first time we boareded on it I noticed what an awesome restraint system they have. Its a lapbar so you have more freedom obviously in the rest of your body to move around, but its positioned in a way such that your whole body comes off the seat. It has your legs only stapled down to the ride. This is what makes this ride amazing. going backwards and facing the ground, you feel your body comin off the seat and I even admit that I got worried. For this being the slightly smaller version next to CP'S, this was still an awesome ride. Following some world famous fries we head over to The Racer for a smooth, but boring ride due to the fact that my train was dispatched later than the other one. You lose the fun hand slapping. The new trains, though, are gorgeous that they got from last year and are very comfortable. Pittfall is next on our list and is still my fav freefall ride for when you face the Mon. river, the heights are so much higher than the ride itsself. We decide to wait an hour in the line for Phantoms Revenge and get the very back seat at night. I dare someone to find me a ride with more airtime. Wow does this thing fly over those bunny hills! The ride is very fast, smooth, yet short though. Going down into the valley at 85 mph is full of g's and is very thrilling. We end our day with a much better night ride on the Thunderbolt. All in all it was a great day with crowds being much smaller than expected due to the fact of a chance of rain, but there was nothing but sun the whole time.
  25. Magnum is my fav 2....over M.F and Dragster. I just like the out of control feeling and location. FOF comes second in my list of all time favs. Wow just got off track there
