  1. You can buy 2006 gold passes now. They have the updated information on PKI today. It is 74.99 per person if you buy the 4 pack and that includes parking.
  2. We also rode it today. It was perfect. It was great to see it going again!
  3. So back to the real reason for this post. Is Delirium running yet or are they still testing it?
  4. Last year our 2004 gold pass did not get us into fearfest. PKI gave free admission to fearfest with our 2005 season pass. We got a heck of a deal on our 2005 passes because we bought them so early. If I am remembering correctly our season passes expired at the end of September so if we wouldn't have bought them we would of had to pay to see fearfest. That's not true, last year both 2004 and 2005 passes were accepted for Fearfest. I guess I misunderstood what PKI was saying when I got the e-mail. Sorry.. next time I'll keep my mouth shut.

  6. This is the best news that I have heard all day!!! I can't wait for it to open.
  7. I have a picture of me with those Smurfs! It must have been from 1989 or 1990.
  8. Even if it is running I don't know if I would want to ride it. We have been on coasters when it is in the low 50's and high 40's and it was not all that fun for me. That's a lot of wind coming at you along with snow and ice. It doesn't sound like fun to me. I'll stick to the indoor rides.
  9. That's a little harsh. If PKI sold the campsite would they have any say in what happens to the sign? You would think it would be trash at this point. TG1993, I hope you get the sign.
  10. The first time I rode Drop Zone I could not get off fast enough and then burst into tears!! Since that time I have rode it almost every time we go to the park. We kind of have a love hate relationship. I am determined to like it. It doesn't scare me as much as it used to, but it's far from my favorite ride.
  11. We went yesterday too. We arrived around 9:30am and left at 10:15 pm. We rode Face Off, SOB, FoF, Vortex, IJST, and SDATHC all before noon. After Vortex we went out to the car for some lunch and water and then back in for Drop Zone and the water park. The water park was packed!! We rode 2 water slides and hung out in the wave pool until 4:45. We did have a run in with a guest in the wave pool and I thought it was going to get ugly but the lifeguards were quick to step in and help out. After that we thought it was best to head back over the main park. We hit Top Gun, and a few smaller rides and then for the best in the park, The Beast. We wanted to ride it in the dark so we got in line at 8:30 and were told that it was an hour and a half wait, but it turned out to be a 40 minute wait. Oh well, the ride was still awesome!! We didn't get to see the parade but I think we will head back down next week so I can see it. Over all it was a great visit. Another great day at PKI.
  12. We haven't been able to visit the park since the parade started this year. I do hope that the sound quality is better then it was last year. I remember that it was very loud and had a lot of static coming through the speakers. We are going to go on Saturday and I am looking forward to the parade. The energy that the employee's have is amazing!!! I love to see them dance around and have a great time.
  13. Has there been any one working on Delirium within the last few days? Any sign of progress?
  14. Thanks! That's what we thought.
  15. We went today and WWC was great. We only waited about 30 minutes and everyone was very frendly and helpful. Great job! On a side note, I do have a question for ony one who works at the park. Does the color of your shirts mean anything? Like why are some of you wearing white and other blue? Are the supervisors wearing the white or does it even matter?
  16. I heard an employee ( I don't remember which ride, FOF maybe?) tell the guest that they were not aloud to take the bag from them and to just loop it around their ankle. They were aloud to take cups and prize things from them but not bags. I thought it might be new for this year.
  17. We try to start with Face/Off. It usually has a really long line and the line goes so slow since there is only one train.
  18. I see people line jumping at PKI all of the time. There was one instance about a moth ago in The Beast line where it was totally packed. All of the lines were open and it was a good hour and a half wait. There was a large group of people that kept jumping in front of others and then the rest of the group would join them. Numerous people said things to them and the group just got an attitude with them and actually shoved a kid (about 9 years old) out of their way. Someone ending up calling the park police on their cell phone about it and they showed and stood at the train station but never did anything about it. I was very disappointed in the park police that day. The problem was that there is not a place for the employee's to sit after you get about half way through the line. This is the only time that I have witnessed such extreme line jumping and I really wished the park police would have ejected them from the park.
  19. I don't like LaRosa's either. My favorite is Skyline chili dogs.
  20. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion so if they didn't like it, they didn't like it. I guess that there will be one less person standing in front of me in line! I personally think that PKI has some of the best coasters ever and I have a new appreciation for them after visiting other parks. Our coasters ROCK!
