Wooden coasters CAN be relocated, but seldom are. See Wild One, Phoenix, etc. But see Geauga Lake Big Dipper, Rolling Thunder...

Still debating whether I want to make another weekend trip to Holiday World for Rock The World next month...
I am planning my first ever trip soon. Can you tell me more about this "Rock The World" event? Maybe I will manipulate my plans to go that weekend.

I posted an update in the Kings Island 2015 discussion thread but on Sunday I rode Boo Blasters specifically to see if anything was working. To my astonishment it seems that they have gone in and fixed most of the issues. Everything seemed to be working, even the tourist being chased by the skeletons. Every target I hit worked and I got one of the highest scores for that ride I can remember in recent history. So, at least it seems some TLC was put back into the ride now.
According to this report the tourist being chased by skeletons was working on Sunday July 5th. I rode the ride yesterday (July 13th) and it was not. Broken again I suppose. Also, all 3 of the guns didn't work at all in the car we rode in.
I'd like to see this ride get updated/replaced with a new dark ride, but I'm not sure how I feel about the recent Triotech rides that have been installed at Canada's Wonderland and Knott's Berry Farm.
I also rode it again last Friday and nothing was working. I must of just got lucky on that day.

Many small flat rides would be perfect for the area selected. It would also pull some traffic to an area quite sparse with only grass and some scattered trees here and there. I would much rather look at a ride than grass. However, I believe trees would be more beneficial. Masking areas with trees makes a park unique. Cleared land with grass rather bores me.

I vision flower pots on top of cement in the near future.

That would make that line attendants (I am not sure what you call the person at the front of the lines?) day, if they know anything about roller coaster tycoon.

Its sickening how much trash is left in the parking lot after a day at Kings Island. People are so freaking lazy it drives me mad. Almost as mad as someone driving in the left lane of the highway at 65mph or less. Forgive me for going off tangent a bit but, that really does grind my gears (in my best Peter Griffin impersonation). And in my favorite Top Gear rant "Think of it like the lavatory, you go in you do your business you get out, you don't stay there all day!!" If there is one thing I hate more than anything in the world its people riding the Fast Lane when they have an empty lane to their right. GRRRRRRRRRRR.
End rant, I hope everyone has a great day today! haha- 5

Well.....While some of us are talking about flats we would like to see.....
I thought I'd mention this one:
(video)
Looks like tons of fun!
Any of you guys tried one of these out?
It would be awesome to see one of these in the old Flight Commander area, though I'm not sure there would be enough room.....
TMNT Shell Shock at Nickelodeon Universe. Quite enjoyable, and each rider can decide how much spinning they do.
I cant wait to ride that ride, being the turtle maniac that I am. Heading back to visit college friends here soon in Minnesota, so its only a matter of time before I am able to check it out. Many many pictures will be taken.

If my memory serves me correctly I do believe the LeSourdsville Lake one was scrapped.

I rode Boo Blasters yesterday and to my amazement nearly everything was working. Even the tourist being chased by skeletons was working. Also, every target I hit was working which was quite a surprise. I had one of the highest scores I have had since they installed it, 2468. They put a little TLC into it it seems.

I guess I forgot they were only running one train. That has to be painfully slow to wait for.

A roller coaster named Banshee was supposed to be at Cedar Point, instead they got Raptor.

The day has come when Terp was wrong. I think I can live my life now.
On a more serious note, it may not be the best (or smoothest) ride but it will get me to go to the Kingdom this year. Now I have 2 roller coasters I have never ridden there.

For another flat ride option, I wouldn't mind if we got an enterprise. Specially the new reinvented one Huss just released.

The Beast is one of the most iconic and recognized crown achievements in amusement park history. Its renowned all over the world for being such. It is known, it is the icon for Kings Island, and it always will be.

I had to vote Maverick as well. However, my second vote will be a tough one.

I've had enough people ask me if I've seen this article that it inspired my latest blog post.
Also, in reference to the fact no Six Flags parks were included - Six Flags is a quickly recognizable brand. I think most of the GP does not connect Cedar Fair with it's parks as the parks themselves do not carry the brand's name. That's what caused them to be included. But other than that, I felt this was basically a list of "popular amusement parks that aren't owned by Disney, Universal or Six Flags."
Anyway, if you're interested in reading my rebuttal and my personal top 10 underrated parks (based on my experiences, this is not intended to be a comprehensive list) please go check it out: http://chasingthrills.com/10-truly-underrated-amusement-parks/
Great list, really enjoyed reading your take on them.

We happen to have a great big box of room for said dark ride in Rivertown, so you might get your wish soon, or might not.
-Tusk feeling like Terpy with his opened ended answers.

From a flyover via the skyride, that cleared and fenced off area is nowhere NEAR large enough to accommodate anything resembling a dive coaster that would suit the likes of a park such as Cedar Point. It would, however, be large enough to accommodate a compact coaster... possibly one relocated from another venue....or the dark ride that I feel will be there.
I wonder if they have plans to remove Iron Dragon (if the new ride is in fact a coaster).... hmm.
*note - I am not the person to approve of removing rides just to remove them, however that ride is, and always has been, sorta dull and boring to me.
