  1. GODZILLA2877 and TheBeast1116, please don't directly link to the webcam. When you do, the picture will continually update and do two negative things: 1. No longer relate to what you're referring to sometime down the road 2. Be very dark and no longer visible for those of us reading the thread at 4:30 in the morning. Instead, save the picture to your computer and then upload it onto a service like imgur. I did a very similar Photoshop in this thread, only I used Columbus Zoo's flying scooters. By no means do I think the park will actually add a set of scooters into the area, but I don't think it'd be a bottleneck nightmare like everyone is presenting it. Just reference The Magic Carpets of Aladdin at Magic Kingdom - it's a similar sized ride tucked into a similar sized midway. They wouldn't have to be ready for opening day. Firehawk didn't open until Memorial Day weekend. (Not that I think a ride is going to be assembled in that circle.) But unlike Firehawk, the new set of scooters would not be off to the side of the midway, but instead in the direct center of it. And it'd be a very busy, traffic-heavy midway. If the park was to add flying scooters in the former target area, I think they would be open by opening day. You may think there is plenty of room, but think about the lines for Ice Cream and Drinks. Then you have a HUGE bottle neck. You would then have to do one of the following: Walk through the congested line, for food, to get to Banshee and The Bat etc. or Walk all the way around the flying scooters to get to said rides etc. The complaints would be flying.
  2. All I can think of with all this "Haters gonna hate" nonsense.
  3. Me too. How about we give Carowinds the Back Lot Stunt Coaster in exchange for the Flying Eagles...then we'd have free land for Les Taxis and the Ohio Overland Livery (the Antique Cars, for those not familiar with the real names) to return...along with all of the beautiful landscaping that was decimated by Paramount. I don't know, I kinda like the gravel - Said no one ever.
  4. No, no, no, they're changing it to a triangle.
  5. Who's to say its not going to another year round park in the good ol' US of A.
  6. I got Terped .... dang-it. I got everything capitalized but missed B&M .. doh.
  7. This is a tough choice for me. I choose Intamin though, solely because I have rode more Intamin than B&M coasters. However, I do enjoy both thoroughly.
  8. So, based off of interpreting terpys post. The new area will be called "Purple Rain". edit - this is sarcasm, again.
  9. I've got it!!! They are making a park map out of pavers. Lost? Check out our new "live action" park map over in Action Zone. - tusk realizes "live action" has nothing to do with a park map out of pavers. Nether the less, he felt it was a necessary statement to bring emphasis to the point of this ridiculous sarcasm. Although, he must admit a park map made out of pavers would be pretty superb.
  10. Well, that escalated quickly.
  11. This should be on a t-shirt I would need Terpy to sign it then.
  12. I feel like we are going to get into a their, there, and they're debate (again) the way this is going.
  13. All negativity, disgust, and low hopes aside. I am very excited to ride this, this year at least, ride. It will be good to see all the things they have done to "spruce" up the park, and get it ready for the re-opening in person. I'll be sure to take many of pictures to share.
  14. Or 99 problems but a ... well you know the rest
  15. I am upset I never got to visit before it closed. I was thinking about visiting this year too. Just a sad sad day. Sigh
  16. Interesting prediction. But will they have a similar sign near or on the other side as well? (near the theater)
  17. Everyone quit hootin around......I'm here all day. The pavers will look good, I kinda want to see some designs made with the pavers. I think it would be cool to see, where that big circle was, a paver design for the new themed area. If, indeed, it is a new themed area.
  18. I can think of many of us (myself included) that would volunteer for that.
  19. This is completely and totally off topic. Upstop, every time I see your post with that profile picture I die laughing. I have seen it a hundred times, and it still cracks me up.
