I can't believe the season is already ending. It seems like yesterday we were talking about walking in on opening day and kissing the bricks.

I rode Vortex in the very front seat a few weeks ago and found it quite fun. Going over the hump after the first drop you get good air. And in the loop you are plastered into the seat. The only problem being the corkscrews, you fly into them then all of a sudden it just stops it seems. but thats bad anywhere you sit.

That is pretty cool. I'm a drummer so I kind of like the whole music thing, obviously or i wouldn't do it. And the clicking thing in your ear she talks about is really fricken annoying, imagine something making an extremely high pitched dut noise over and over right in your ear like a mosquito. It's hard to explain until you experience it.

That's me, I have had Top Gun, Vortex, and I kind of made up some FOF colors. The green made me look like I have rotten teeth. Also, you might be an addict if you watch on ride videos of your fav. roller Coaster and rock back and forth in your chair during the offseason.

Oh well thanks, I just saw the big paramount logo plastered on the screen in the first scene and wondered. as a matter of fact in the special features some body says that in the opening scene of "Raiders" they used that particular mt. in the background because it looked just like the Paramount logo.

I watched Iniana Jones last night and it is a paramount movie, so why didn't they theme Adventure Express too it outright, instead of the generic jungle adventure we have now?

I'm happy that at least they still exist, however it's really sad to see such a neat old ride decked out in something stupid like that. I've never even seen that show!?

I like how it is now. one thing that would be cool would be to convert the flying saucer into one of those gravitron round up rides that come to county fairs. I know it would never work but it's still a nifty idea.

First I'd like to say that if KI were to fix it before they took it down, The Bat looked like it would have been an awesome ride and I wish I'd had a chance to ride it. Also in picture number 3 at the RCDB link back on the first page of this topic, (I'd give a link, but I don't know how) the station looks reversed. So either the train ran in the opposite direction or the original station is where the sheds are now on The Vortex and they moved everything over, or I just have a terrible sense of direction.

I know this is an extremely stupid question to all you "PKI Vet's" out there, but here goes. What do they do with the trains on the roller coasters, as well as other ride vehicles in the park at closing time? I'm guessing with the coasters that they are ethier kept on the transfer track or in a shed like on Vortex, or kept on the brakes/lift throughout the rides.

Mr. Freeze is a "Freaking A" ride. the verticle drops are cool especially backwards. I watched some one drop a penny as we went back down the big spike to start the backwards segment and the penny floated by my head all the way down until we bottomed out of the drop. If you are going to SFSt.Louis definitely ride it, otherwise don't go out of your way to go to this mediocre, at best, park. It's okay every once in awhile and they do have a couple of niffty little rides but it's very run down, and needs a lot of TLC.

I went to sixflags St. Louis, it was okay. the theming was crappy, lots of trash, gum stuck evrywhere. On a scale of 1-5 (5 being the best) I give it a 2. From the sounds of it they're all like this.
