  1. ^ Exactly. I wasn't asking for his name just the position he is in at the parks. The interpreter pretty much said the rest for me.
  2. Sooooo were does this "source" work? I can gurantee you the only people that know anything about the sale are the CEO's of viacom and other companys making bids on us. I've heard "reliable" sources say time warner bought us, sony, a random company in Mexico. I'm just asking you to backup your "source" until then your just spreading rumors from people that have no pull or weight within this high ranking of the company. Keep in mind the marketing department of pki didn't even know they were on the selling block until they read it in the papers that day. I to have sources within paramount parks corporate and they do have no clue about what companys have placed bids. On another note, Cedar Fair isn't the godsend everyone thinks it is. They dump all of their money into one park. The park would be much better off being bought by a diffrent company. The best company for this would deffinetly be Busch, but I question their interest since I know they like to involve animals as much as tehy can within their parks. I guess only time will tell for this.
  3. I'm sure all the parks have made offers but the fact is its at a auction, and im sure they were overbid by an investor. The park will be bought by an investor. Kept at the same value, then when gas prices level out and people begin to travel again they'll be sold off individually probly in the next 10-15 years. People just aren't going to theme parks right now. Buy low Sell high. Your probly going to learn very quick that paramount isnt nearly as bad of a company as you guys say it is. If youve truly looked into how the parks operate it would be a completley diffrent story.
  4. You guys seriously need to know when to shutup and just listen. The new area will be fine. Every flatride can be trailor mounted, and they have trailor mounted versions, its how the amusement industry works. Their are portable top spins and frisbees as well as many portable full size inverted roller coasters by vekoma and b&m in germany. If your going to ***** about the park at least offer ways to improve something and be smart about other. Other then just blabbing more and generally giving ACE a bad name.
  5. I CAN GURANTEE YOU, none of those 3 companies will buy paramount parks. I'll bet $500 on it... None of them have the money to.
  6. Maby its because of small things like screws etc that could fall into the food?
  7. Maby they are just cars tailights on some of the paths around The Beast?
  8. Stuff gets stolen alot, Ive had a bag with wet swimming trunks stolen before. Thats all that was in it... They just want peoples stuff to not get stolen. But I agree with combat stupendous prepare for a day at a park with a large crowd of people. Its really not that big of a deal. The locker prices are diffrent in certain areas. I think the ones by viking fury are only .75. Deffinetly worth it to keep from losing your things. Or you could keep them in your car and just walk alittle extra if 75 cents is a big deal.
