In the Diamondback Picture, those are trees cut down by the train, not footers. The footings (correct me if I'm wrong) appear to only be in the station/ splashdown area at that point.

Could just as easily be talking about something they have planned for the waterpark later this summer....

B&Ms are nice, but I'm not here for a larger version of Diamondback. I would rather have an Intamin than another sit down, non inverting B&M coaster. Maverick is my all time favorite coaster with Millennium Force behind that. So I would say Intamin>B&M

Here is a picture from 11/02/2008 when Diamondback was under construction. This is when they cut the trees down in the area leading back to The Beast

As you can see in the old satellite photo, there used to be a square white structure where Diamondback's helix now goes over the pathway. This used to be the Coca-Cola cool zone. It was a mist area to cool off before getting in line. That is actually where the line used to begin. There used to be a queue line that stretched all the way down the path to that spot.

I was on Adventure Express and had a nose bleed on the ride. It was so embarrassing because when my nose bleeds...it bleeds a lot. After running down the exit ramp and going to the Coney Mall bathrooms and waiting for it to stop, I see that Adventure Express has shut down, and they are spraying down the trains lol.

^They really should do that since the path by Slingshot and Delirium gets so congested

Didn't a magazine or something leak the layout of Diamondback way before it was released during it's construction phase? Is there any way to access the building plans that Kings Island submitted to Warren County/ Mason?

What are you thinking the 2014 coaster will be? I know some of the manufacturers listed don't make rides anymore, but you guys can dream right?

So you can't even get the 1.99 refill with old souvenir cups like prior seasons? That's pretty stupid. Oh well, guess they just lost some money from me, i will be drinking water lol.

Hi guys! As some of you may know, I am going to Northern Kentucky University to major in Media Informatics, with a focus on web design. After taking many, many general education credit hours, i finally started taking classes for my major. Right now we are beginning to work on our final website projects for my Media Web Coding class. REALLY? It's a small world being stuck is a deadly situation? Give me a break. The ride op obviously came to them and told them that he couldn't be evacuated from that spot. What an idiot.

Some of you guys are acting like the new Evac, system was just made using old stuff they had laying around. I'm sure it's perfectly safe. The only thing I'm wondering about is, if this evacuation system runs on the gondola's "track", then how will it be able to move up and down, but the gondola won't. Wouldn't it be running on the same cables/ power system?

This is really cool! I'm glad we are finally getting a full service restaurant! The patio sounds like it will be neat! I wonder what the prices will be like here.

If the walk back to Flight Deck is too long for you to ride the ride, you should probably reevaluate your health lol. Jesus people, it isn't like it's 5 miles. I personally don't mind the walk back there at all. It's shady, gives a nice view of the ride, and secluded from the rest of the park.

Although I didn't get to ride it when it FIRST opened, I did ride it while the majority of the effects still worked. I remember the part where you are facing the icicles, and the strobes start flshing, and you rotate fast toward the floor was one of my favorite thrill ride experiences ever...it still is. I miss Tomb Raider

I believe the park is removing the water tower to make way for something to return....something that hasn't been seen since the offseason that Diamondback was constructed....the Trailer Tower of KIC

I hope they rip it out and put a large area of trees and grass in the center of the walkway.

I'm pretty sure they do both run still....maybe not on days that are practically dead, but I know for a fact both were running last season.

I wonder if we will see any minor improvements to Action Zone this season. They are obviously prepping it for a new addition, that's probably why Invertigo got a facelift last season.
