  1. What's the last thrilling flat we got? I don't think WindSeeker is all that thrilling. It's fun, but not thrilling. So would it be Delirium in 2003?
  2. So I know for the 20oz wristband you get through funperks it says "not valid at Coke Freestyle locations". If you purchase a 5 dollar souvenir wristband, can you use that at Freestyle locations?
  3. True, Flight of Fear does have inversions, and it is sit down. But I wouldn't mind one being outside. I guess what I am saying is, we need a new sit down roller coaster with inversions, to refresh what we already have in our line up
  4. I would love to see a ride layout like Mantis (I love the inversions on it) but instead of stand up cars, just make them sit down floorless cars. I actually really like Mantis, but I think the time for stand up coasters is done. What I would REALLY want to see in Action Zone is a ride similar to Maverick at Cedar Point. I love that ride so much. I think Kings Island just needs a good sit down coaster with inversions, one that doesn't give you a migraine(Vortex)
  5. I think for the past few seasons they have only "planted" the 12,3,6, and 9 spots on the clock.
  6. Why would they need to put a new flat directly on top of the floral clock? couldn't they put it behind it, or to the side. There is a lot of empty land around it left over from when it was the antique cars.
  7. I haven't had any problems getting out, and I followed the sign.. you drive from by the sign, all the way toward the park entrance. Then turn right on to the "road" through the parking lot, and follow that out using the yellow exit sign as a guide for the general direction
  8. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the clock, the living liberty bell, the Eiffel Tower topiary, and the other one or two that are escaping my mind right now, don't go up until later in the season.
  9. I have visited 4 times, and spent 8 dollars on Hank's Burrito shack, 21 dollars on a shirt from Soak City, and 5 dollars on a souvenir cup refill wristband, and I finally got a reward offer for being able to choose a Free Popcorn, Free Cotton Candy, or free ride on Thunder Alley Go Carts
  10. well, if you put in the second quotation mark in the "speaks asian" story, then it might have made a little more sense.
  11. I went to the water park on sunday, and it didn't register as a park visit.
  12. Do people REALLY need wifi that bad in the park? I dont know about you guys, but I barely even use my phone at all in the park. I'm there to enjoy the rides, and hang out with the people I am there with. Not there to check facebook or check the news while I'm in the park
  13. ^That's what i was wondering. It would help if they actually explained these things
  14. Well I dont know if I have had issues lol. I didn't know when other people started getting offers. Has anyone else on here gotten some sort of offer for visiting twice and eating in the park once? I am just not really sure if I should have points yet or not. EDIT: If the program hasn't officially launched, why are they handing out flyers for it?
  15. So I have two visits to the park and I bought food at Hank's burrito shack yesterday, still no reward offers. When the girl scanned my pass at Hank's, the little receipt that printed out said "sign up at funperks.com to earn great rewards" does that print out everytime you scan it? It almost sounded as though it was saying my pass wasn't registered yet...
  16. So, I tried to use my drink wristband today. First i went to Cinnabon, and they said they didn't have wristbands. So we walk to the Ice Cream place in Planet Snoopy. The girl working there said "We only have the souvenir cup refill wristbands." I asked if I could just have one of those since I have a souvenir cup anyway. She said that was fine, but then found out they didn't have today's wristbands, only Monday's. (This was all around 10am) So then we go to that little food and drink stand that is across the midway from the swings. The girl there was very rude. She didn't understand what I meant about just using one of the souvenir cup wristbands. So FINALLY we go to the Coney Mall Skyline. They also only had the souvenir cup wristbands, and not the 32oz free refills one (or whatever size it mentioned on the coupon). But they actually let me use the souvenir cup one at Skyline, after having to bring over a supervisor. it was all really a hassle. I still have no idea where you are supposed to get the one they mentioned on the coupon... I imagine they will be getting tons of those coupons in the coming weeks so someone better get their act together and figure it out. Once I finally got the wristband though everything worked out great! I really liked being able to use the free refills on the new Coke Freestyle machine in Hank's Burrito Shack! i love the idea of the Funperks, it just seems like they have some kinks to work out!
  17. It's such a cool store! Their selection of "wayfarer" style sunglasses was awesome. I loved all the t-shirts. I have a feeling I am going to end up spending a lot of money in that store!
  18. One of the best parts about opening day was the "I love the 80s!" store. It was awesome! If you like classic 80s movies like Star Wars, The Goonies, Back to the Future, and the Breakfast Club, then you should definitely check it out!
  19. Rainy days at Kings Island are some of the best days to go, as long as it isn't raining hard enough to shut down all the roller coasters. The rain keeps crowds down, which means more time to enjoy riding the rides. Sure, you might be pretty soaked at the end of the day, but that doesn't matter when you are having a great time with your friends and family! Plus, it's always nice to ride rides in the cold rain all day, then go out to your car and put on a dry sweatshirt and crank up the heater! haha
  20. I would trade Firehawk for Disaster Transport (Yes, I am serious lol) I would trade WindSeeker for Demon Drop. I would trade Linus Launcher for Chaos (not at Cedar Point anymore, but using it anyway)
  21. *sigh* I miss Son of Beast. I wish they would just announce what they are going to do with it. It was a great ride, but the amount of free with admission, ride-able rides at KI is dwindling... The Crypt, Son of Beast, Action Theater. I wish they would either reopen it or put something in its place.
  22. Many years ago my friend's parents said that people died on The Bat (they were being absolutely serious) and I tried to argue and say that, that was completely untrue. I was like 12. So they discredited me, because I was too young to actually KNOW anything...even though they were completely wrong.
  23. That's because the rest of the rollercoaster wasn't up yet. Once it all went up, everything sort of "snapped" into place so it wouldn't collapse. Once the circuit is complete, the stronger the ride is. I don't really know how else to describe this.
  24. During the final years of operation, didn't they usually only have one side of the antique cars running? Since there were the Antique Cars, and Le Taxis. I think Antique Cars were the ones usually open...
