I have to agree also with what DVO said "I'd like to see them take out the Action Theater and expand in the back of the park." removing Days of Thunder and putting a ride like from Canadas Wonderland (once owned by Paramount) Sledgehammer. Removing the Action theater will make a good size trail to the backside of the park lots of rides can be built back there. Now for my added ride Tomb Raider that has to go, it replaced Kennton Cannal which was alot more fun, after Tomb Raiders first year its hardly ever busy i rode it once and said that sucked! I say improve Congo Falls with better theaming and if you cant get good concerts at Timberwolf it has to go, I dont consider a good concert that caters to 8-12 year old girls. I remember them getting REO Speedwagon, Styx, Loverboy lots of good concerts that filled Timberwolf! Oh and if they are going to keep the beer garden (across from Adventure Express) stop serving people who are drunk off thier ass, dude falling down and getting sick infront of my children isnt good for "FAMILY" fun. In front of the fountains across from the Tower the Kareoke stage this could be alot better IF they call a friend of mine he has just about every song you can think of rock ,hip hop ,country, ect I told my wife the day they put Queensryche on the list is the day I will go up there. Remeber the drill the Kids of the 80's are the parents of today if you do the math you'll get your answer there its a generational thing!

Why would they take it out that ride is busy in the hot summer days, however it doesnt have long lines on the weekdays. Id like to see them improve it like Disney World did with thiers.

Dont know if you all care but to the left of the Tower they will be taking out the walk of fame. Its were the had the Paramount movies ingraved in the big stone blocks. They ground out the top of the stones so they are blank took out the star ship enterprise and the idol from indiana jones so they are canning the paramount theaming. However are the coasters going ot go threw a name change as well? I would say yes and maybe change the name back to Beastie as it has been always known.

They closed it cause they couldnt find people who knew how to play guitar. Its sad kids of today love the sound of electronic drums and a beat from a yamaha keyboard. This generation dont want to take the time to learn how to play an instrament where it takes hard work and REAL talent. Anyone can dress like a thug, grab your own nuts, and shout profanities in a microphone. Ask any of those rappers like 25 cents or m and m how to read music and see the dumb look an thier face.

Id rather have Lone Star, Olive Garden, or Smokie Bones Cedar Fair doesn't have a track record owning those franchises...they do at owning/operating Friday's franchises. I'm a big fan of Famous Daves at the Cedar Point marina! Well I wasnt talking about them owning anything. As for that they dont own Subway .... but they have one right by Racer! However they can franchise it like they did subway. The food at T.G.I. Fridays is the same you can get at the park plus its been known as a "swingers place" not the type of thing they dont want around familys agreed?

I miss them too also I really miss the Old Fashion cars. Sounds like i wasnt the only one who had fun on the antquie cars when we were teens. That was the spot, I kissed my first chick on them and other things hehehe. Me too. It needs to come back. ... the Revnge of the Maestro I like it. That was just another place for teens to make-out. lol

Its not a coater but they took out the larger log flume ride (Kennton Cannal not sure of spelling) for Tome Raider that was the biggest waste of money, space, and a better ride! It was big when it come out but died the year after eveyone rode it once or twice but dont line up for it anymore. Thats how you can tell whos a local season pass holder and who isnt.

What brings me to the park is the beautiful ladys and Beast! Nothing like seeing all these chicks with bikini tops and open shorts on all day.

Boy you missed out, All my firsts was riding the antque cars. First girl friend, first kiss, first.... well you get the point. In the 80's that was the hot spot for teens when it got dark. Dont hold your breath so much , it will give you a bad headache.

I think they were looking at cost to set up and how many tickets have been sold so far. Well I hope for a couple of GOOD and new coasters like Mantis and Raptar!

Which was one of the reasons why I didn't like Cedar Fair. I'm afraid that, with Cedar Point remaining the flagship park, and the monopoly in Ohio, someone in upper management's gonna decide that HalloWeekends is a more popular event than FearFest and end up pulling the plug on the PKI event. No Fear Fest!? that would be ****ty. Fear Fests gets better every year.

Thanks for posting this. However it is true the media over does it with the facts. PKI is a safe park and Ill sill go and already buying my pass for next year.

Actually the deaths that occurred at the park in 1992. ( All on the same day. One on Flight Commander. Which was a Drunken woman who stood up while on the ride. And the One who got a little too close to the electricity by actually going into the water. And the security guard who died while trying to save this individual) did occur while under the ownership of Paramount. Granted the park did not grace the Paramount Logo until the following year. The sale had been completed by summer "92" At this point the announcement that WinterFest's last operation was going to be held during that year had already made as well. So to state that no individual has died during Paramount's Ownership is a false claim. Paramount was already making changes to the park at the time. And I do know a lot more details about this day. My sister worked at the park on this day. And One of my good friends was working Flight Commander when the woman fell from the ride. I'm not going to go into details about it. If you don't know than you don't need to know. M.F. You forgot one more, there was a suicide, a guy jumped off the bottom tear of the Eiffel Tower. How do I know you asked? I was there wasnt a pretty site. That is the reason they closed it off and you can only go to the top 2 floors.

I grew up in the 80's and I know im not alone when I say "if the cars could talk they can tell a million storys" an a hot summer evening thats were the kids went to make-out. I kissed my first girl there and got to do other things you do with fingers but I wont go there. Need to start a new thread with peoples storys and the antique cars lol

I called they arnt processing this year until opening day due to the new system thanks for replying though CoastersRZ
