  1. wow.. i am amazed that after almost two and a half years.. this topic is still being discussed.
  2. i too love The Beast. But in my opinion the only way to ride it is at night. YOU feel like ur outta control!!!!! i absolutely love it!
  3. i like face off. i just love being suspended up in the air looking straight down. im so afraid of heights and everytime i ride that it gives me SUCH an adrenaline rush! gawd i cant wait!
  4. i dont think its overrated at all. everytime i ride it i enjoy it to death! i only ride it at night though so i cant tell where im going. i guess in the day it can be boring. but regardless its still a good coaster. u have to remember it was built almost 30 years ago and its still rockin away. its not gonna be able to compete with some of todays coasters so stop comparing them. theyre from a dif generation. its still around and ppl still wait and hour+ to ride it. ill let that do all teh talking
  5. i dunno though. i think some landscape is jsut what KI needs. i mean i look at KI and i see a GREAT park.. but its kinda dull. its all rides and buildings. ppl dont want to see all that. they want to ride the rides and be dazled by landscaping and other scenery. i think if it looked more like busch gardens then Kings Island would be unstoppable. truely one of americas greatest parks.
  6. i think, along with it being fun, that people ride The Beast because they feel like since its the worlds longest wooden rollercoaster that if they ride it they have bragging rights.
  7. im going opening day but im just using my employee id to get in. my buddy and i are goin after his shift. but yeah just use the search function. ive seen it in a lot of other forums
  8. yeah i heard at least three stations giving away tickets. ive heard so many ppl from my school talkin about how their friends and them are gonna be down there. so im expecting a large crowd
  9. i lived in tampa bay florida for about 14 years and ive been to busch gardens countless times and i have to agree. they can do some great stuff for the park. but when i go to busch gardens it feels a lot like im going to the zoo. now dont get me wrong, it really makes the park look good. busch gardens is a beautifu park, but im afraid if they get ownership of the park there will cease to be any new and exciting rides. theyll probably change the look oif the park significantly... but i think it could use it. who knows though.. a lot is expected from Kings Island, as far as rides and such. so maybe if they do get ownership theyll continue to live up to them. i mean they have to if they wanna see an increase in their profit margin. one can only hope though. as far as ownership of the park.. i hope anheuser busch gets the park.
