  1. You forgot to mention that you need to jump up and down on your right foot, while holding your left foot behind you with your right hand. Holding the device in your left hand, point the antenna end toward Jupiter, and the screen towards Kings Island. (I don't know why you people buy devices this complicated, when ever I have problems I just give it to my daughter and she takes care of it, so it can't be that hard right?)
  2. Yes, it was in the building next to McDonald's. Harris Corporation, and I think Fidelity are in that building now. Not much to wright home about.
  3. ^He is very much alive, here is an article published just last year: http://www.wsaz.com/wsazhistory/misc/9069941.html
  4. I like spam, a little bit of mustard and some pickle, you all don't know what you are missing.
  5. Season pass entrance is blocked, so I would say 1991
  6. Wasn't trying to correct you, just throwing some info out to help every one with the info they are looking for. Besides you got it part right, Allen did have a hand in the design of The Beast, but it was with Collins and Gramke (mostly Collins). Allen was approached to design the ride but declined, so Collins asked for some design help and wrote it down on some napkins, menus, legal pads, and probably some toilet tissue (though I have not seen the toilet tissue). Keep in mind that this kind of situation went on, and still goes on today. A specific designer gets credit for designing a specific ride, but in reality the actual design came from many ideas from many designers.
  7. Larry Bill did most of the design work for The Raven I think with McNulty, neither one had any thing to do with The Beast. The only thing that strings them together is one of the designers of The Beast started a company that the two worked for. One last thing, Dinn was in charge of construction of The Beast not the design. The credit for designing The Beast goes to Collins and Gramke.
  8. Or it could be a hat or a brooch or a pterodactyl? (changed it because Terpy's way of spelling brooch sounds better than mine. I am not admitting that I am wrong, just conforming to a better spelling because of definition.)
  9. The football hall of fame is in Canton, Ohio. That's the pro football hall of fame, the College Football Hall of Fame was originally built next to KI after many arguments and hearings and meetings (Jersey boys never know whats good for them) but failed. The College Football Hall of Fame was then moved to South Bend In. but is set to move to Atlanta in 2013.
  10. Are you talking on the PA system or do you have an alpha pager you do carry in the park? Alpha pager, I'm old but not that old
  11. Do you think I can get them to page me with this info? I don't carry a phone in the park, too many distractions.
  12. Such an innovator beyond roller coasters, he worked with NASA in the early years of the satellite programs and the Saturn space craft design. Godspeed my friend.
  13. It's a square box with ice in it......sorry had to, really bad couple of weeks I just had to lighten it up some how
  14. Many plans never end up how they start, take CVG or greater Cincinnati airport, did you know that it was going to be ISZ (Blue Ash) or Northern Cincinnati International Airport? The Blue Ash area was also looked at before Riverfront Stadium was built. I had always thought that they were looking at other locations for KD, but I never would have guessed that it was in the Chicago area. I wonder how far west they looked: Memphis? St. Louis? Kansas City? Think of the possibilities.
  15. I get that stuff every time I go to the Air Force Museum in Dayton. You remember Dayton don't you Terp? It's that magical place where eagles learned to fly.
  16. Without conception there could not have been a birth, and without development there would not have been maturity. That's 2 to 1 in my book, I could go on and make it like 20 to 1. Just because 2 men wanted to go to the beach instead of staying in a valley.......ugh, I go away for 2 months and this is what I come home to!!
  17. "MONROE — The Screechin’ Eagle has been torn down, but parts of it will live on in Texas. " It's like the articale is talking to me personally ;>)
  18. When I turned 40, I got a cake with black roses, a cane, and a box of adult diapers.........I think.
  19. No Dip N Dots guy needed, just a simple yes would have sufficed
  20. In Ohio you can have a convention in Geneva, have lunch in London, fly a bomber over Lancaster, do a jig in Dublin, cross over to Delaware, eat at a deli in Brooklyn, visit Athens and Troy, have a shocking experience in Moscow and you can do that all today, or you can just go to Morrow.
  21. Avatar when you are as well grounded as I am it all tends to pass right on down to ground, but some times you end up taking the cannon ball straight to the gut. off topic, or not. Did you ever think that if the Brits didn't wear red coats and if they didn't stand in a straight line in the middle of an open field, then we might be saying things like "put a damper on it , flyboy"?
  22. Because they are Monroe shocks I had nothing to do with those shocks, my shocks come from watts and generally travel and are not absorbed.
  23. Are you talking about the "Dive Machine"? edit: I am not knocking the contest, I am actually excited and can't wait to see what people come up with!!!
