  1. I think those are basic fixes that you mentioned. From what I understand KI(CF) is not interested in making a theme park, they prefer to keep traveling towards a amusement park.

I am sure there are a lot of fixes around the park most just go unnoticed :)

  2. ^yea, just look at it this way (i know this isn't Cedar Fair, but...)

... on second thought, is that because el toro was built by intamin, or is it because it's in new jersey?

Why are people hung up on who makes a ride? Majority of visitors to a park have no idea who builds rides all they know it is fun and ride. Honestly the Gp for the most part does not care who builds it. Ask any unsuspecting patron at KI who made The Beast or even DB and I bet the answer you receive is KI.

  3. ^Actual brought back, those were the uniforms of the 70's and 80's, thought to be gone forever.

The red shirts are from the 70's and 80's? Not that I am aware of. Each area had themed uniforms and never remember those.

    - Rivertown- red, blue, green and or yellow white checked shirts with bluejeans.

    - Coney- red/white verticle candy stripe shirts with poly blue pants.

-Hb- light blue shirts with HB cartoons all over them with blue pants or shorts.

    -Octoberfest- German attire

    Bring these back :)

  4. Unless I am mistaken, the things are made of the early version of Polyester (a word seldom trumpeted these days...back in the day when duPont was proud of it, it was usually called Dacron Polyester...and the duPont family had a child named Polly Esther duPont...I can't make this crap up it's so good). The early versions were hot and quickly developed an odor that could not be washed out. Terp knows. He worked fast food back then and wore a smock (eerily similar in color to the red/blue things the ride ops wear at Cedar Point), and that thing was hot and always stank, no matter what!

Not to mention when friction was applied they would melt and get shiney, such as on the slide it would burn instant holes...lol

  6. Mad? No one has a right to be mad at what the park does. Sure I do not like certain things but to say someone get mad over it is just wrong. The entrance of Diamondback is actually on the edge of Rivertown but I do see what you mean by it running thru Rivertown. I will be the first one to say Bring paramount back. Not many people would agree with me. I suppose it does not matter who owns or buys the park there are gonna be things here and there that upset people. When I disagree with something the park is doing I try to remember it is not my park. It belongs to CF. I also remember when we have all the coaster buffs (which I am not) they have the right to want other things than me.

One thing good about DB is you can see it miles away from the park and adds to the skyline of the surrounding area.

Going to KI or any park is like having a drivers license it is a privilege not a right.
