It seems like it's a new thing this year and may be the result of more of us going mobile but we do not need up to the minute threads about different rides going down for whatever short term reason throughout the day. As I just explained in a PM, there wasn't a problem with people posting their first hand accounts here. It was information on what other people where yelling in order to incite panic in the crowd. People see those "keywords" and blow up the parks phone lines and local media asking about those "keywords" happening as if they really did. So what was just a simple Banshee had some downtime, had a simple repair done to it, and opened back up later that day became a much bigger deal than what it really was.

Posts about last night were removed, Banshee had some downtime and reopened later that evening. Idiots in the crowd yelled dumb things (as they typically do) that were completely untrue and their words blew things way out of proportion for those that can't think for themselves and/or lacking common sense. This post isn't directed towards anyone's post here on KIC that was there first hand as you simply said what you heard. (I am not employed nor contracted by Kings Island/Cedar Fair and do not speak on their behalf.)

You can post, photograph or film anything you see tomorrow. As long as its not a POV or anything taken on any rides. As a fair warning unfortunately as its already happened, there will be "elevated monitoring" for those individuals who try and shoot a POV photo or video. Those who try will be escorted out of the park with some paperwork. The park has also already recorded a nice HD POV of the ride that will be released tomorrow.

Starting today, the park will start to email out the details on Banshees media day to those that have correctly RSVP'ed to attend. I ask those that receive this email please don't share it on the forums as we don't want anyone that did not RSVP for the event showing up and be denied because they aren't on the guest list. (These are public forums after all.) As a reminder to those that get the email, you must being your coaster groups member card to verify yourself at the gate. Any questions shoot me a PM. -Dane

I stopped following it closely after the 3rd month it has been delayed, but here is the thread they are all in. http://community.invisionpower.com/forum/1-news-and-information/ It will be the biggest update since free version 2 to paid 3. (Invision Power Forums used to be free software back in the day)

Correct, same design and reorder them. Or design a cheaper, single color ink shirt. But what if we want a new design with last year's higher-quality style? Dane can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm assuming that the quality is the same either way, and that being cheaper only has to do with a new design having fewer colors. Assuming that is correct, I would prefer a new design. Last years shirts are full color screen prints that run upwards of 22 dollars to make. My neighbor started up a simple tshirt company out of his house that uses single color silkscreen shirts, single color ink, but still at high quality. I can get a significant discount using him. Since I remember last year the price was a issue for people, I wanted to put this up to test the waters.

I know the biggest objection to last years shirt was the cost of them, so I will open it up for discussion and voting this year.
