  1. Midnight Syndicate Live! reviewed. http://www.ohio.com/blogs/airtime/airtime-1.489637/midnight-syndicate-transforms-cedar-point-s-good-time-theatre-into-the-ghoul-time-theatre-1.525758
  2. Cedar Point has a Kidz Bop style version in Howl-O-Palooza (Kiddie Kingdom and Planet Snoopy). It is quite perplexing.
  3. I experienced two of the new attractions this weekend. Hexed is well done with great set designs, decorations and detail. Midnight Syndicate Live is an amazing show, a definite must see as it take Live E to a new level.
  4. Road Runner/Beaver Land Mine Ride went to France. Double Loop and Villan got Scrapped. Raging Wolf Bobs was sold for parts and dismantled. Corkscrew which was removed in 1995 operates in India. The Giant Wheel went to Kings Dominion along with El Dorado. The Carousel is now at Worlds of Fun and Texas Twister made it's way to California's Great America. Finally, the kids rides now make up a Planet in Maple Grove.
  5. Halloweekends start on Friday, so it's not really a head start.
  6. Millennnium, Dragster, Maverick, Wicked Twister, Raptor, Mantis, Skyhawk and maXair all have test seats. Mine Ride will be a tight squeeze so that may be a no go.
  7. To the point that I thought it was an actual warehouse the first time I saw it.
  8. Canobie still has their Scrambler enclosed, that thing is like a sauna.
  9. Cedar Point tends to make a big deal about ride removals, even holding contest or auctions to be last riders. White Water Landing, Paddlewheel, Demon Drop, and DISpatch mASTER TRANSPORT, all had similar endings to what Mantis is experiencing.
  10. Edit: was beat by a few seconds. So I shall ask an intriguing question instead. Can a Banshee wail for itself?
  11. The Military Horse was carved in Philadelphia by Muller who was from Germany and lived in Philly. It was carved for his friend Dentzel, who did the rest of Frontier/Dorney Carousel and was also in Philly. Thus the backstory they give is illogical.
  12. Intellectual properties cost money, even SIX got rid of some not to long ago. Also they don't necessarily equate to a decent ride experience, see Garfield's Nightmare.
  13. Teennick airs classic 90's shows from midnight to 2 am, then repeated 2 to 4am. More 90's goodies on their website! http://www.teennick.com/specials/90s-are-all-that/
  14. There was a planned replica of Rye's Aeroplane? I would rather have had that than SOB.
  15. Indeed Fear Faire is not returning this season, thus all zones will be toward the back of the park. Zombie High maze is still in the pavilion near Hurricane Hannah's
  16. https://www.cedarpoint.com/things-to-do/halloweekends All the info, including Skeleton Key. Also, there may be a phantomtheater in one of those photos, who most likely will look different this season as I move to the Bayou.
  17. The Town Hall Museum was original purpose was not only to tell the story of Cedar Point but as well as to preserve local history and to show how life was in the same era as Frontier Town is to resemble. Thus it was the Town Hall of Frontier Town. You may find it boring, but lots of guest find the non Cedar Point stuff intresting. I've seen adults showing kids on how life used to be before modern technology, nothing wrong with a little history lesson. To some, that maybe the closest thing to a history museum they visit. Does it need updating, yes. Should it loose it's Town Hall aspect, no.
  18. Small traveling carnivals are still quite popular in the Cleveland area, many featuring a walk through funhouse.
  19. http://www.10best.com/awards/travel/best-theme-park/ Indeed it has, Kings Island came in 7th.
  20. Starting this Friday, Midway Market will only take single day meal deals, the all season plan will not be accepted.
