  1. ^^Just a thought...are employee insurance policies more expensive for a candy-making company?
  2. Haha...that's pretty funny (if not also a little sad to hear!) yeah those are the breaks when you have a 15 month old, a three year old, work too much overtime and are married. Plus an 11 year old boy into sports upto his ears! But hey at least we are going this year, I missed the whole 2008 season. So you're saying single*, 27, with no kids isn't that bad afterall?! *It's off/on and pretty casual
  3. ^^Behemoth's was in a similar spot, and sucked to be honest!! People sitting on the left easily got cut off from the pic depending on how they were sitting. So if D-back's is going the opposite, then that might be true for right-side riders, but the exact height of the camera will be a factor as well.
  4. Haha...that's pretty funny (if not also a little sad to hear!)
  5. I'll have no problems myself considering DST is still killing me, and I'm past my spry years at an ol' 27, but given that tonight is almost like Christmas Eve in its anticipation I'm not sure everyone will fall right asleep tonight!?
  6. ^^I agree, congrats again Jackson!! I know I for one am really looking forward to your PTR's!! They're the penultimate TR of all TR's IMO!
  7. I gotta go with Nana Gator on this one with respect to the weekend of May 2nd and 3rd!!
  8. D*mn!! Peeps are curious about D-rum, aren't they?! I wonder who would win in a race? Delirium or SOB? Wait, who am I kidding, Viking Fury is probably faster than both!!
  9. I hate to ask the question (being too logical of a person), but how will this work with the husband now?? (who's also going on Sat!)
  10. ^^Does it say how old he is?? Because he looks young today, but to also be a "grown up" in 79 sort of doesn't make sense when you crunch the numbers??
  11. ^^Those details haven't been made available yet. I think it was sounding like Don would be crossing-referencing with Ryan what KIC members were or were not registered on or before 2/1/09 prior to your RRW check-in.
  12. ^^Btw...can anyone confirm, perhaps employee stuntvolt who I see online, if the snake heads have the iris in their eyeballs yet??
  13. RR, no Universal?? Especially for RRRC!? (if it's open then)
  14. ^^CB'ers have always claimed the #'s for some of the parks are way off in reality (BGA is one that comes to mind).
  15. I read on PointBuzz last year about some dude having his fanny pack jacked from the...Mantis? bin, I believe. He had his wallet, car keys and a whole bunch of other valuable stuff that sounded crazy to me to leave in a bin!! I know I have also had stuff stolen from bins at CP...I'm trying to think what? Nothing super valuable and I think everytime it was from Raptor. I know I had a refillable bottle jacked, a stuffed animal I won for my girlfriend jacked, a 20 oz. already *opened* soda (this really -issed me off b/c I was thirsty!), and the on-ride photo from my first ever TTD ride with an ex-girlfriend from college who nowadays is ridiculously out of my league to date again...while I'm -issed about that, I still have others from that day anyway with her including Raptor. So obviously now I'm more careful or use lockers or go out to my car. The only ride I put anything of value in a bin for is Wicked Twisted, since the theft chances are mitigated. But for WT I do put my cell phone, glasses case and wallet even all in the cubby (but keep my cash on me).
  16. If they have a Gold or Platinum Pass then I'm hoping so!
  17. ^^It was down for 3 months from Aug 07-Oct 07! But I believe Delirium went down from July-Oct
  18. I and Giga can confirm...maXair goes higher and is longer than Delirium. That said, my understanding is Delirium's ride program became much more tame after it was fixed from being down half of the 05 season, and from 03 to mid-05 it at least went higher than it does now, but I think it's always been 3 full swings compared to maXair's 4.
  19. Unless it was the last day at Cedar Point last year, it wasn't me! And I don't even own a fanny pack, don't do gravy buffets, and rarely talk coaster stuff in parks...now park stuff..... It was Labor Day...I whole-heartedly admit I was very tired, and the guy was drinking a Starbucks coffee (venti size) and ate two donuts...a big clue right there he wasn't you. If for any reason, how can you squeeze in every short-wait Maverick ride possible before all the cattle come back there with that sort of beverage drinking strategy?? Coffee is a diuretic, afterall. Then he started going-on about how great of a day it was going to be weather wise...I mean, I can't see this for myself?? I was probably more tired than anything, but the coffee drinking pre what was 2+ hours of Maverick riding for me was mind-numbing.
  20. ^^Cedar Point is past its prime anyway!.....jusssssst kidding!!
  21. ^^This could be a great time to say, Terpy, if I ever meet you and not know it, please don't think I'm a jerk!!! A guy in the SC enterance line at CP last year tried making convo with me, and I thought it *might* be you (turns out it wasn't), and I kind of blew him off...the commentary wasn't that of an enthusiast. So just please know I'm really not like that!!
  22. Hmmm...sounds like Don didn't have to be at the office today at 8:00 am...lucky!!
