^ That would be great. I feel like that's exactly what the park needs. Edit: In reference to the video.

This dragon nonsense is obviously a way to keep us in the dark about the construction/rehab they're doing on Son of Beast. We all know that Dragons and Beasts don't get along. It only makes sense. End. Sarcasm.

2011 Gold Pass ERT includes WindSeeker and Vortex
beastfan11 replied to jcgoble3's topic in Kings Island
You have got to be kidding me. Buddy, look. Being one of those people who only used to visit the park once a year for the longest time, I can honestly say that I would have been satisfied with one ride on The Beast PER YEAR. If I got a second night ride during my visit, I might have peed myself with excitement. But now, like many on these boards, I can ride almost whenever I'd like. That's right. with a little gold colored peice of plastic I can ride almost whatever I want at the park whenever I want. (During seasonal operation, of course.) And so can you. Don't you think it might be a little selfish to have to have you 15-20 rides on Diamondback a day? I'm not trying to be mean, but we don't need to throw a hissy fit because we dont get what we want. Enjoy WindSeeker. Enjoy The Vortex. - Collin, who is keeping his fingers crossed for ERT for the KI&MVRR next year... -
Oh. I don't know if this was intended for me, but If I really upset someone I am sorry. I didn't mean to get everyone all worked up.

Let's say I see this picture and call a friend of mine (also a KI fan) and tell him about it. I don't know whether it's a ride, new service road, etc. Regardless, it's something. So now me and my friend are both speculating what it could be. He talks to sombody else about it, and that person tells someone about it, and so on and so on. The park never claimed it to be anything. It could be a new roller coaster or it could be a new service road. My point is that they are more than likely checking out these boards and getting a kick out of what we're saying. And in the mean time, getting some free advertisment via word of mouth. It's a little off season fun, that's all. - Collin

PR people need entertainment during the off season too! Does that entertainment come from over excited fan sites? Perhaps. - Collin

I don't know about you guys, but I think they might just be messing with us. The picture looks kind of staged. But man, I hope I'm wrong. - Collin

My thoughts excatly. I've always loved that section of the park. It's about time it received some TLC! Off Topic: Awesome Signature Beast1979!

They turned the Fountain into an ice skatinking rink for the 2005 Winterfest.

Actually, Tombstone is the only maze that even closely fits with the surrounding area. Coney Maul is themed to a dilapidated carnival, yet its attractions include a haunted mansion, haunted hospital, psychotic prison, and backwoods trail. And Waste Land, which used to be themed to a government outpost overrun with aliens, hold a slaughterhouse, a vampire bar, a farm with rabid scarecrows, and a werewolf-infested forest. So where does that large warehou...err, Ancient Cave come into play? But seriously. I love it when I find ancient ruins in my river themed amusement park areas.

Haha. Thanks, man! Love you signatures!

Alright! Fellow Queen fans!

Footers? Footings? Sheesh. I'm lost.

I'm glad that the ride is getting a fresh coat of paint, but boy what a wasted opportunity. Oh well. I'm sure FD will look quite fantastic come opening day. - Collin

Should KI and Cedar Fair Discontinue Halloween Haunt?
beastfan11 replied to RaptorGuy's topic in Kings Island
I agree. It is all in good fun. I wouldn't let one comment ruin my entire trip to The Haunt. I had a blast while I was there. The fog was better than ever this year! -

That wasn't the real Satan. It was a guy in a costume. The real Satan is very busy this time of year. Hahahahahaha. I just about fell out of my chair. -

My post wasn't towards you at all! I semi-agree with you, I think the midget wrestling was a little to far. My post was really to RaptorGuy. It's all good. I understand. It was just genereal post. I just don't like where the event is going. -
Should KI and Cedar Fair Discontinue Halloween Haunt?
beastfan11 replied to RaptorGuy's topic in Kings Island
You guys are completely misunderstanding what I'm trying to say. I loooooooooove the Haunt. I do not think they should discontinue it, but just because there are "no limits" doesn't mean it's right. I saw a midget get closelined at the park that has recieved multiple awards for having the greatest kid's area. Haha. I mean, it's rediculous what's going on here. -

Nothing is off limits? Michael Jackson? Billy Mays? Michael Vick? Things are and should be off limits. One's faith has nothing to do with going to a haunted house to get scared. There is no reason for this. -

Speaking of the Haunt not being Satanic..... There was a scareactor outside of Urgent Scare on Friday that told a group of people that they were "Not in control because their God was dead." Not cool. I don't get offened by much but this was really REALLY pushing the limits in an area where limits do not need to be pushed. And do not tell me that if I am upset that I just shouldn't go because I have always loved The Haunt and this is the first time anything has really bothered me. Religion is obviously a touchy subject and I don't want to start a "God" debate, but I (as a Christian) do consider this satantic. Kings Island is supposed to entertain guests, not challenge their beliefs. I love Kings Island and I hate to see things like this. It's just down right wrong. Let's get back to the fun nights of Fearfest and Winterfest! Let's have some fun Kings Island! - Collin.
