  9. At the time Congo Falls was installed, it was originally called Amazon Falls and Action Zone was a safari themed area. So back then it wasn’t really in a dumb location. The theme changed to an action movie area during the Paramount era and was named after the movie Congo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. According to Don Helbig the webcam will be down through the end of March. You can find his PSA here: https://KICentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/35959-psa-orion-live-stream/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. You pretty much answered your own question. They are seeing this as just another job/paycheck. I’m sure one of them is saying that they used to like the ride. But a majority of the crew are just seeing an old steel structure that has to go. Just like when Riverfront Stadium was demolished, I’m sure it might’ve been the same thing. Memories of Reds/Bengals games, but in the end it’s just an outdated building/structure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Here’s one I just made: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Can we quit with the whole “Kings Island owes us an explanation” B.S.? It’s starting to get annoying and making the rest of the coaster enthusiast community look like spoiled brats. Sheesh! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I must’ve not have gone that far back to look. I didn’t see any other good screenshots of the demolition. EDIT: Ok I finally saw the pics. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. It looks as though demolition has started. You can see the excavator where the boomerang element was. https://www.visitkingsisland.com/explore/live-video Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. That track you’re referring to could be the track that leads out of the station and to the lift hill. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. There was never an extra piece of track. Vortex only uses the the two transfer tracks to operate as part of the final brake run. See the satellite image from Google Maps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. The park just posted this an hour ago. It shows the whole station as of today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. Was that you in the parking drop off I saw today? I drive a Toyota Highlander. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. You do understand sarcasm, right? [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. This is part of the discussion topic. We’re talking about the cranes and how we wouldn’t be able to operate one because of there size. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
