  1. I'd have to say Adventure Express or Son of Beast... Adventure Express is a coaster I never miss. I don't know why. The other day I stopped in to get my paycheck and ride a few things. I hit Diamondback, Flight Deck, and Adventure Express and I was content. Son of Beast on the other hand, I used to marathon it when it was walk on during the last part of the era of the loop, I'd say it is a close race between those two. Although, I did have a fascination with the twins at SFKK. We only got to visit there once. However, I got many many rides on the twins during that visit.
  2. A security guard in my line quietly made the group put the flashlight away before they came through Cut Throat. I though for sure they were going to shine it in my face. She even followed them through the maze to make sure they were still behaving.
  3. Thank you Terp... I wish everyone else thought that way. I have sincerly had a blast though. I recommend those who like it, come check us out. Just don't try to take my hat... like I've had a group do. Pirates like their hats.
  4. Well that's the thing; how far is the line between on purpose and accidentally?
  5. If they touch you on purpose, it would not be good if said person is spotted doing it by a supervisor. No one is ever to be touched.
  6. Both attractions have been changed/ added to since rehearsal. I recommend people try them both. I do agree with other people though. The two are on different levels... Slaughterhouse has the gore going for it, while Cut Throat doesn't. Slaughterhouse delivers it's scare in accompany to the gore. Cut Throats scare is based solely around what is coming next and that element of surprise. The pirates have to make thier environment scary, while Slaughterhouse already is. I am completely bummed about not being able to go through Slaughterhouse. I was praying for you guys on rehearsal day.
  7. I went with Death Row... although it was a tight race with Trail of Terror.
  8. I was actually using the captured ship bit as the entrance usher.
  9. The first time we heard the pyro was during rehearsal last week. We at Cut Throat thought something was wrong at first. I then in a very excited voice stated that they must of added pyro back to the showplace. Glad to see that this show may be stacking up to the prior attempts. I'll have to have my family check it out when they visit later in the month. Lol and I just wanted to mention that it was I that called you out Ryan opening night at Cut Throat. I was having a blast!
  10. Clbehymer I thought I recognized you... I was the entrance usher and was looking for familiar faces... I was having a blast last night.
  11. When we came through for the trial run... trail was one of the best. We even went through in broad daylight. kjkjkj got me both freakin times when we came through.
  12. We pirates captured the ship from the vikings. However, we thought it was bad luck to change the name. We didn't want it to sink.
  13. Lots of people were having trouble finding the entrance to Cut Throat... signs are out, but the areas they are in are not very lit up. I worked the exit yesterday, and directed several people in the right direction. I truly think tonight was better for us. We had more fog. Also, I think the haunt atmosphere in general was better tonight.
  14. Arrrr we be soggy pirates... but we still be hiding in the cove...
  15. You Urgent Scare people will be one of our first victims tomorrow... I really hope the people who come on friday will be impressed. I truly think a ton of effort from a ton of people have been put towards this event.
  16. Tomkatt7 I posted the story back on page 78... At least a short summary of it...
  17. It was nice because they actually gave the ride a story... If you look on the side of the train in the old picture it says PSV 1.5 (PSV 1 before they shortened them). The PSV stands for Perimeter Surveillance Vehicle. The story was riders boarded their own PSV to journey to outpost 5 (Adventure Express speil anyone??) to search for a mysterious creature that had escaped from a nearby holding crate. Once riders embark on their journey they realize the mysterous beast has captured them and takes them on the ride of their life. Using a quick edit and a picture taken by our very on ViolaKat you can see here the logo on the side of the station.
  18. I miss those old trains... not necessarily the ride the gave, but for the decals. I think it was one of the better train schemes.
  19. From the KI Insider Blog... it appears that the red train has no number on the front http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_e6DmX3i-ePM/Sgc6...kend%2B2009.jpg
  20. I thought the Starlight Experience was very well done and CP, and would be thrilled for it to debut at KI.
  21. Lol I'll be there as well... but as a Cut Throat Pirate. Hope you all enjoy what is in store...
  22. I felt like that the last time I rode... I rode in the front and it wasn't too bad... So i jumped back on and tried the very back... That is the most pain I have been in ever on a coaster... (Keep in mind I also enjoyed SoB in the back car.) Although I still got the few moments of air which are found on MS when compared to SoB. I was quickly slammed back down as the beating resumed. I have had back seat rides on MS before that were not near as bad. I like the ride and came off battered... Still not giving up on it though. As far as worst coaster goes though I'm gonna have to go with Cedar Creek Mine Ride. I think it has had a wonderful life span... However, the restraints on it absolutely bite. The ride itself is a tad rough and uneventful. The best part is the ending helix. It finally gets some speed there.
