  1. I really do want to apologize to everyone who has had people line jump in front of them. Many of us are doing the best we can to watch the lines well enough to prevent it, but we simply can't do everything at once. If you ever come upon a situation where someone does line jump you, please tell the nearest ride op. Even if the person is already on the ride, many of us will take the time to talk with them once they are off the ride. As for the people who used the excuse they were in line, and had to go to the restroom, that does not matter at KI. If we let one person use that excuse, we would have to let everyone. If you see it happening, please let a ride op know, and we'll do our best to take care of it. I hate to see people who follow the rules have their day ruined by someone who can't act like they were raised properly.
  2. I first started going to teh park when i was around 6 years old, and I remember being tricked on to Beastie. As wimpy as it sounds, I cried my eyes out I was so scared during the ride. But luckily I got over that fear I found KIC because someone on my crew sent me a pic of Avatar on this site, where you can barely make out an associate standing on the platform. After looking close enough, I realized, its me
  3. I do work at KI, and the train stack ups you see are just a part of opening weekend hassle. It is very difficult to train new associates how the ride works while running it. Just please give us a little bit more time for our newbies to get used to everything, and the park should be running normally very soon. :-D Glad you had a good trip! Hearing things like that makes my job worth it.
  4. There are days when as a rides op, that people just get so rude with me, it can completely ruin my day. They get rude over enforcing height restrictions, rides being closed, having to wait in line...the list goes on. But its the amazing kids, who smile after facing their fear of Avatar, or the littlest ones laughing their heads of at Swipers Sweepers, and the parents who understand that I'm just doing my job, that make the whole deal worth it. I can only remember a few rude incidents, but you can't forget all of the smiling kids who are having an amazing day, because of you. The good days definately make up for the bad.
  5. I love being in Nick Universe...as long as I'm not working that day. The feeling changes when your working.
  6. Actually, prior to the parks being bought, I saw groups of people walking around that were interested in buying the park. I worked Avatar all season, and only saw them a few times toward the very beginning of the season.
