  1. None is asking YOU to willingly engage with complaints. We expect the person who fed you the line, “as adorable as it is predictable” to engage with complains. But we all know that they won’t bother to do that. By the way, as promised, here is the latest Tower Topics discussing the lessons learned from this latest antic: https://linktr.ee/towertopics
  2. Kids were invited to come unveil the trains with Snoopy. https://local12.com/news/local/kings-islands-camp-snoopy-snoopys-soap-box-racers-cincinnati-derby-club-kids-join-unveiling-cars-mason-latest-coaster-adrenaline-track-thrill-seekers-updates-reveal-late-spring-visit-shaded-play-space-beagle-scout-acres-season 10:1 says they put it on social tomorrow and claim it just happened. Any takers… anyone?
  3. They used to do a kids walk-through for Halloween with the subject of fairytales. This reminds me of that. Cool thought!
  4. Although this debate is as adorable as it is predictable, we learned some valuable lessons about the new season pass program. This is discussed thoroughly on the Tower Topics that drops tomorrow, April 5, 2024. https://linktr.ee/towertopics
  5. Someone else who works for the park would say that about the guests when issues or complaints would be brought up in meetings. Extremely disrespectful, but expected out of this person. Kind of an “out there” phrase to be repeatedly said by this person and then posted by you. I guess stranger things have happened. Perhaps the only other person on Earth who would say that phrase was on a cruise when you quoted them with your post. Ask @gforce1994.
  6. Fair enough. But again, we learned some valuable lessons here. Expect the lessons learned to be articulated on Friday’s Tower Topics. It’ll be interesting to see what Mr. “As adorable as it is predictable” tells you about that.
  7. I do not disagree. It’s also probably cheaper. In an ironic twist, they still make sure to include the anecdote that they made every effort they could to save certain trees while building The Beast. If it were built today, the plot would look like The Voyage.
  8. I bet someone will be uncomfortable with that.
  9. Given the recent developments in what the “All Park Passport” really means, we have learned some very valuable lessons. Tower Topics may be a good place to share our thoughts on that.
  10. I would have gone, but I guess you snooze you loose. I don't think the price was unreasonable, given the situation.
  11. It almost certainly has. In fact, I'd be willing to go as far as saying that there have been several test cycles. It won't be long until the associates are there for training, and the rides need to be ready for that.
  12. Here is a tour that KD posted of their VIP lounge on Facebook. Posted without comment. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/BUasS7YBcZ3jZKf5/?mibextid=WC7FNe
  13. If you’ve ever needed a testament to not buy your pass in the fall and wait until you see the product you’re actually getting, here you go.
  14. I was there a few days before Flower and Garden started, but they had most of the decorations out, including many of the topiaries. I'm trying to decide if they're really so good that they're unbelievable, or they're simply not real. I honestly can't tell.
  15. All benefits are park-specific? Doesn't sound like it to me. Unfortunately, this bait-and-switch is as adorable as it is predictable.
  16. The monthly items were certainly a plus. But, as you may recall, they weren’t included in the Dining Plan the first few months, presumably because enough people complained.
  17. It’s quite telling about how this year will go based on the fact that the other parks are showing off their lavish dishes that are new for 2024 and KI booked a photo shoot for their pizza and fries.
  18. Oh they find a way. But seriously, I’m not saying it’ll make the bad crowd worse. I’m saying it could make a good crowd bad in addition to the bad crowd.
  19. I believe that you cannot use them in the arcades too. If anyone knows differently, please fact check me.
  20. Enjoy your shelter between the dumpster and the restroom, Kings Island Prestige Pass holders.
  21. Correct, and with the whole industry on edge about fights and misbehavior in the parks, I’m not sure how wise of a move it is to continue to introduce such a thing. But let’s not kid ourselves - this thing will be seldom open.
