I'd just like to apologize to everyone about my comments in this thread. Intolerance just really is something I can't stand. In the future I will try to keep myself in check.

I rode the Zepher and didn't notice any difference in the ride.

I'm very excited about riding Taz and enjoying the rest of Boomerang Bay, but it hit me last Saturday that I'm really disappointed that there was nothing new open for my first trip.

I'd have to say that my favorite piece of theming in the park has to be Bubba Gump's. I think they did such an amazing job. In my opinion it's the best eatery in the park.

Now I don't want to start a flame war or insult you in any way, but this statement amazes me. I don't understand why it would matter what group is going to be at the park. I just don't see what the difference is between people of one group and people of another group. Again, I'm sorry if I've insulted or offended you, but I had to say something.

I honestly can't stand TR:TR. It's not running a lot and when it is I'm not that excited by it. Just my $0.02.

I agree that it's extremely unlikely, but a very real possibility.

What I meant was that I think that the actual birthday is in April but they're just delaying the celebrations.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that it should be counted as two rides because if recaR was at the Beach and Racer was here they'd be counted as two rides. What is the difference between them being at the same park?

I think that PKI knows what the real birthday of the ride is, but they are delaying celebrating it until further into the busy season.

I was just bringing up the point that someone said that the layout of the track has to be different for it to be considered a separate ride (obviously I know that a ride at a different park should be counted separately). With the logic that the layout has to be different for the ride to be counted twice all cloned rides should be counted as one ride.

This raises an interesting question. How are cloned rides counted?

I know I, for one, thank you for the pics. I don't want to turn this into a bash other sites thread, but I want to say that I left a different site because of some of the stuff that was going on there at one point. It's nice that people feel free to post pics and stuff here.

Smash Factory was OK, but I think the space could be better utilized.

With the new Walk on Weekends for Gold Pass holders this year, do you think PKI is moving more toward a fast pass type of system or do you think they will limit it to Pass holders?

Well I would think that if Racer is counted as one then every clone of a ride should also be counted as one. I personally count it as two.

I know that it may not count, but I was there for Dinner with a View during Nights of fire last year and they had some really nice food. Montgomery Inn Ribs were the main course. It was a really nice place to have a meal, especially after spending all day in the park. It was so nice that my fiance and I enquired about using it for our wedding reception, but it was too small :-(

My fiance and I are psyched about this one. I always thought they should have a Disney style parade everyday. I think this shows they really are comitted to becoming a "Hollywood" park. I think within the next few years Geauga Lake will be the new Kings Island and PKI will be the northern version of Disney or Universal.

I honestly think they should try to rehab one side of the FX Theater into a 4-D type of theater. Maybe rehab both sides and connect it with the area that FOF is now and offer a Star Trek 4-D movie like in Las Vegas.

I like the new paint jobs. I think it was really about time that it happened. I think the Zepher especially looks nice.

I've always considered it a ride, and they list it as a ride in all of their maps and such. I think any elevator or similar object at a theme park is usually a ride. They'd got similar rides at just about every park, outside of Orlando, that I've been to.

I don't know if they'll ever do it, but I think it would be awesome if they added a Hollywood themed area. Maybe add a Hollywood backlot type area or an old time Hollywood area. I also think it'd be cool if Nickolodeon could get out of it's building at Universal Orlando and could build a building at PKI or one of the other Paramount parks. If it was a sesonal park it would really give people a reason to come year round. Again this is all just wishful thinking.
