Seriously, enough is enough, Spongebob Squarepants in 3D has got to go. The film is in awful shape, my kids find it boring (and they love spongebob) and the decor has had its day and gone. Even if it was a walk on, which it is.... everyday, its not worth it. Now my understanding some company named iWerks makes these simulators, how hard is it to swap the film out and plug in a new ride program cartage and have something new for a change. My only hope is that with the silence KI has had about its 08 season, something may be in to replace that has been film.

Well from following the current trends of naming stuff outta Cedar Fair, I'd say to expect Row 1, Row 2, Row 3, Row 4. Also the north and south toll booths will become Entrance A, and Entrance B.

Go to Cedar Points and than rejudge Kings Island, I bet it will change your perspective of clean restrooms in theme parks. Kings Islands are fine.

I cant tell you whats the best but the worst has to be Wings Diner. It is the definition of what a restaurant shouldn't be. The guy at the register didnt say a word to us, just rang it up and took my card. After that, we than proceded to the buffet where there were Styrofoam plates. I mean seriously, I know its easier just to throw them away but if you pay 15 bucks, glass would be nice, even plastic would do. The food was either out, or dried out. The selection was horrible, and the utensils and condiments were way off to the side. The cups were really small making you have to get up and refill it constantly. There was no music to speak of, and the TV's were on something like Sportscenter which is pretty boring w/o sound. The only credit I can give it, outside of the buffet area, the place was pretty clean. As someone said before, the KI parking lot at lunch time is more like a tailgate party outside of a football game, I have even seen people go as far as to bring mini grills and have a cookout.

In the light of Mr. Kinzils interview yesterday, do you thing that next year Boomerang Bay will be a separate admission price?

Is the new cool zones just going to be vending machines or will it have fountain drinks too?

Wow, I remember hearing the news they were putting that in... I'm getting old. Its great how they still keep it looking like a brand new coaster.

Great point about Timberwolf, it has so much potential but yet it just sits there to be used once a year.

I don't see any public soft openings like there was for IJ. They are goint to want to let that paint dry as long as they can.

I wonder if they are going to change the lighting inside or possibly put in night vision cameras.

I really cant see anything but Orchestra music ever playing on international Street, anything else would just seem out of place. Imagine walking in and hearing techno music playing.

I bought my pass online today with parking pass, is the paper that I printed out good enough to not pay the 10 bucks to park on opening day before I have it processed?

I got my pass online this year all you have to do is print out the form, and then fill out the information after you get a e-mail from KI. Then just take it to the park and they scan the paper and take your picture and your done. So I did that, clicked the link and filled out my info, so now when I go opening day I will just walk right to the photo pleace and get my picture taken? Will the know to put the parking pass on there too? I have that sheet too.

Has anyone bought their passes online? Do you just take something to the window and turn it into the real thing?

I think the cop walked into the ride, if he was pushed than it would be a much bigger deal.

I think it will be better because if Cedar Fair wants to keep making money, they better nurse Kings Island because I heard its the most visited seasonal theme park in the US. And makes the most money.

I heard they were thinking about doing away with it cause it caused more problems than solved.

As they said, Cedar Fair is looking to drastically shape Geauga Lake to what they want it to be. Weather that means shaping it into a more family friendly park or wiping it off the map is still up to them. Kings Island is obviously lacking in steel coasters for teens/adults oriented. FoF is great, The Vortex is older, Firehawk is fresh, and will meake a great improvement to the park. Why they moved it to Kings Island and not somewhere else? 300 trucks from there to Kings Island is allot cheaper than there to Texas.

How is the conversion from regular park to FearFest going to happen this year? Will it be like last year when they cleared the park and than reopened if for fearfest or something new?
