I do carpool with 3 other kentuckians, and it is much easier than driving yourself. You save on gas, and you always have a ride.

Heres the reference point I was told about: The Racer is the exact middle of the land that PKI owns. Another reference is that PKI owns back to the river, which is the gulley you see aways back from Tower.

A pup named Scooby Doo is still on the Cartoon Network. Its actually a regular show, with its own timespot.
-
Best one ever was Ren and Stimpy. Geeze, these are shows that I did grow up watching. That and Disney, back when it was more cartoons than sitcoms.
-
If I remember right, the Rivertown Antique Cars never saw business, where the Coney Mall side was racking in the riders. Its all about location, location, location, and noone ever went down that path very often to ride it when they could ride the cars in Coney.

The drums are the reason I split my pants working the FearFest! (So I was dancing, you would too if you were working the ride for 4 hours straight and it was 1 in the morning!)
Actually, there is one song that PKI plays that I like: I Disappear by Metallica. I would like to see more Metallica played.

I like TR:TR and Skylab. That ride rocked!

I do want to know why announce this before June? Why would it take almost a year to build?
-
For the associates:
Instead of calling that area South Pie (or whatever it is) will it be called Scooby Pie, since it has the majority of the scooby rides in it?
-
It cuts the walk down from about 5 minutes through the line to about 1-2 through the cutthrough. I was the stupid employee who walked through the exit when I first got sent over cause I didnt know about the cut through.

The park wont be the same D. Come up and visit a couple of times tho!

Well, I am 6`6 and I can slip into FOF fine, but SOB I do have to cross my ankles. I have learned, tho, that if you sit right on SOB you can have an enjoyable ride. Sitting right (to me) is heels against the seat, ankles crossed, and sitting all the way back in the seat. I have only had a couple of bad runs on it.

Really, Im not a fan of water rides, but when I do go on them, I like to get drenched, therefore I like WWC better.
-
I thought the park closed at 10. but they extended it to 11. I dont know if that was with a breakdown or not cause I closed Gun that night, but it was really long.
-
It was just a normal shutdown. I dont see how it would drain faster if you hit estop or not. The pumps shut off normally and there is no pump at the bottom of the course to pump the water into the overflow.
Also, the crew is now down to 6. They put monitors in the first tower you pass (tower one) and it is monitored by tower 2. There are the three on the platform, driver, tower 3 and tower 2.

I go to Old Coney at least once a season. Now, the park is mostly for craft shows and such, but I do manage to stop in and ride the Round Up at least once!
The park is great if you have little kids and you want to take them to a park. PKI is too big, IMO, for kids around the age of 7. They maybe able to ride most of the rides, but I dont really feel comfortable at PKI when I am with small kids.

Sparky, I wholeheartedly agree with your post. Although with the extra riders, we dont need the breakdown to have 30 minutes left to cycle. During BAFF, we had about 1 1/2 hours left to cycle.
-
Actually, Shaggy, when I was watching it drain, it took over 5 minutes for the entire courst to drain into the overflow.
-
Last year, during postseason, if you rode the train you could see WWC closed. Its pretty interesting. Ive watched it drain before, and thats cool too.
-
I have never been real big into the shows at any park, but I am saddened that I had to miss Graveyard shift and Ionly caught about 5 minutes of WEBNs show.
-
Thats not how I was told it works. Oh well, I still worked my favorite ride....TR.
-
During FearFest they asked me if I would go work ecology. My response, "If I get paid the money eco does, I will go do it." I worked the ride the rest of the night.
-
Well, you have me and FOF on the crew this year. Oh geeze, that could be bad.

I met him, but never really got to talk to him. Hes a real nice guy tho.
