  1. Hi everybody, I'm trying to put together a project right now, and I was wondering if anyone could give me a list of the songs they played in the School of Rock show? I searched and didn't see anything, so I figured I'd ask because I'm sure some of you rock 'n roll fans remember what was played. Thanks! -Jon "Reality15" Roost
  2. I want to say I have a 2004 map, 2004 brochure, 1999 map/brouchure, and I think a 1994 brochure. That's in my collection of over 3,000 different brochures, however, so I don't know what exactly I have that I didn't just say.
  3. Part of me thinks that's just a temporary logo, at least the top icon. Reason being is that is the same icon that the Cedar Fair uses.
  4. Would anyone happen to know where i could find the original Son of Beast animation? I'd really like to see it, considering back when it came out we didn't have fast internet.
  5. I see. So Vekoma doesn't sell the parts they used. How odd. You know this how? They could just buy the parts, sure. I know this because one of the maintenance guys at Geauga posts on another site and relayed this information to us when we had the same questions about three-train operation.
  6. Three train operation isn't possible. The third train, once it was taken off by Six Flags, was used for parts for the other two. In other words, they'd have to buy a whole new train from Vekoma.
  7. Exactly, I know, and I really didnt' mean to take it the way I did. I'm still trying to find a time to head back up to Muskegon to see back where it would go any better. I'll be up there around the 18th for sure because I'll be headed back home on break.
  8. Not on here. I've seen some crazy things on other sites though.
  9. It's not like you can't see through a wooden roller coaster... and there's a place in the employee parking lot that if you get in the right spot you can see the edge of that area. I said it was hard to see, not impossible. I don't see why you feel the need to bash me when all I'm saying is that I saw something, I'm not making some outrageous claim like a bunch of others are doing.
  10. Two. The Swan Boats have also come used from Cedar Point. We've also recieved a lot of the decor from the old Coasters restaurant from downtown Sandusky. Deconstruction is supposed to start this week at Geauga Lake, so I'm guessing we'll be seeing track or supports at the ride's destination at the most two weeks from now.
  11. Nope, I didn't because my camera was stolen from my dorm a week ago and I just went and got a new camera last night. Not to mention that area is hard enough to see because it's covered on two sides by wooden roller coasters and the other by trees. I live about 45 minutes away, just west of Grand Rapids. I was driving back to school from home (Okenawa) and figured I'd stop by since it was on the way.
  12. Time for the resident Michigan's Adventure person to step in. You got the coasters for those two years right. Here's what CF has done for MiA in the rides area since they purchased it: 2002 - Skycoaster, Dodgems, HydroBlaster (dry waterslide), Be-Bop Blvd (car ride), Go Karts 2003 - Nothing (major infrastructure and landscaping, though) 2004 - Swan Boats 2005 - Funnel of Fear 2006 - Grand Rapids And I'm not saying Michigan's Adventure is getting X-Flight, believe me. I honestly am not even close to a guess on where it's going, but to add fuel to the rumors when I drove by the park the other day I saw lots of heavy equipment back by Grand Rapids as well as what appeared to be footers... no clue if they are or not, but just something to keep in the back of your head.
  13. I went once just to see what the park was like. I went back a second time because: 1. I love Flight of Fear and Top Gun 2. I didn't have the chance to ride Italian Job 3. It's an easy stop on the way down south for me... exactly 5 hours.
  14. And what's more surprising is that the Cedar Fair releases say that they "Operate Bonfante Gardens" but "Own and Operate Star Trek Experience"... I thought STE was a joint venture with Hilton?
  15. Wrong. Season passes go on sale in early September, the talking is already going on if it's not already done (which wouldn't surprise me). For example, I always get my Michigan's Adventure season pass the weekend after Labor Day. The maps and guides won't change until at least 2007, if not later. I seem to remember Knotts not having them separate (combined as one) until three years after they were purchased, and Michigan's Adventure took a year.
