For anybody who renewed or bought a new pass in the fall, do they the same look as last year?

I agree, but that's a big "if". At least this looks like a potential option when there really hasn't been any.

On Rock to Rebuild Conneaut Lake Beach Club and Hotel Conneaut's Facebook page, there was this post: Found here. I don't know if anything will come of this (it looks like they have zero progress), but at least it's a possibility if the two sides decide to could work together.

Good to know, because that thought did cross my mind. Speaking of Conneaut, did that topic disappear? I cannot seem to find it!

I'm not sure if this has been posted anywhere, but I wanted to add this here. Idora Park's carousel reopened a few years ago in New York. Here is a video with a bit of history and the restoration that went into it. Jane's Carousel.

That is true, but it gave me the feeling that the intention is for the park to be open this year. But, this is also the reason I haven't booked a hotel for this trip yet.

I saw that Great Ohio Coaster Club is planning an event on June 29th at Conneaut, and it was announced last week. I assume they've contacted the park ahead of time for this event. https://www.facebook.com/events/766037120075212/

Our plans are much more solid now: -Kings Island Media Day -Another Kings Island trip in Spring -Holiday World for Holiwood Nights -Cedar Point for CoasterMania -Stricker's at least twice -Tentative, but a weekend trip to both Conneaut Lake Park and Waldameer

Those are probably my three favorite flat rides. I was pleasently surprised with how much I enjoyed Conneaut's Tumble Bug.

"All ages" doesn't really apply to everyone if it's a ride (with a minimum height.) My guess is a show.

Don did say that although the event starts at 5:30, that doesn't mean the first rides will begin then.

Back when I used to work customer service, we used to have a group of people who went around to various fountains around the city, collected the coins, used Coin Star to turn it into large bills, and then they donated the money to charity. I don't think I ever saw their total under $500.

Sorry to get off topic with this, but I was just searching a bit about LeSourdsville Lake, and I didn't realize they had a Whip. I wish Stricker's Grove would have installed it.

They wouldn't have to be ready for opening day. Firehawk didn't open until Memorial Day weekend. (Not that I think a ride is going to be assembled in that circle.)

I've heard the their "new" pirate ship is also from LeSourdsville.

Booked our hotel last night, looks like I'm officially going.

I forgot about CoasterMania until I saw it on Facebook yesterday. I threw the idea out to a couple of friends and they seem interested, so it looks like I'll probably (hopefully) be there.

Wow. What a shame. I had an amazing time at this park this past summer. I'm glad I was able to enjoy it while it's still there.

I loved seeing those as a kid. Waiting by the floral clock before opening waiting to be let into Rivertown. I really wish they would bring those back.

There was a point in time where former high school had lunch starting at 9:24am.

A little random, but with the server change it would be nice to get an icon for iOS on the server. According to Apple's dev site (https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/documentation/AppleApplications/Reference/SafariWebContent/ConfiguringWebApplications/ConfiguringWebApplications.html), all you need to do is have an image with the file name apple-touch-icon.png in the root directory.

Renewed coaster club membership as well as registered for Holiwood Nights. Last thing to do tomorrow is to book hotel room.
