  1. I've had doubles before... but then again the last time I went to the park was in 2005... But with drop zone, the first time I was on it it didn't spin at all, but then the next time it spun the whole way up.
  2. How much of the general public do you think actually know WHAT guest relations even is? I know tons of people who have a complaint, so they go home and email it to the park. Or they go home and call the number on the website. You don't need to know where geust relations is to file a complaint. Also, why would you EXPECT to get into an amusement park for free? That's just plain idiotic if you don't have a pass. I haven't been to KI this year, so I don't know if the people are friendly or not, but they way you people put it you make it sound like Kings Island, and more importantly, Cedar Fair are the worst things on the plannet. So there are a couple mean employees, rides break down, they changed the position of Geust Relations at cedar, and none of parks seem to be related except for KNOTS GA, and KNOTS BF. I can give a reasonable explanation for all of this. Mean employees: Could they be having a bad day? Could they have just had something really bad happen to them? Could their pay have been lowered? Rides break down: DUH! They have a malfinction, and FOR YOUR SAFETY, cannot open the ride at the moment. Geust Relations at Cedar Point: Maybe they didn't have enough employees to have four different geust relation buildings. Cutting employes can save money for a park that is "up to its eyes in debt." Seemingly not related: Come on, do the parks all sound better if they have Cedar Fair's Knots Great America, or Cedar Fair's Cedar Point? They want to give all of the parks a different image. And about six flags- they don't always keep up their parks. Look at flash back at magic mountain. A couple years ago, while six flags still owned GA, I went to GA, and the bathrooms were not only terribly dirty, but FLOODING. And getting ice cream or something else from one of those carts? forget it! We saw rats IN the carts. And the people were mean there too, but at another six flags park I went to (I can't exactly remember which one) everything was seemingly perfect! DON'T JUDGE AN AMUSEMENT PARK COMPANY BY ONE OR TWO OF ITS PARKS. vl2 EDIT: hold on, they took flashback out
  3. The same thing happened to me last year. The administration building was in kiddie kingdom, near wicked twister.
  4. how much did they cost, on ebay?
  5. I agree with Browntggrr. It is unfair that people who can come all the time can cut in front of people who only have one chance to come every year. That's NOT what they paid for. I remember that one time someone had a trip report where they used that privelige, and the family they cut in front of complained. Those people probably didn't have a season pass. It's kind of rude to have someone think that they're next, and then have someone else cut in front of them because "I'm sorry, but they have a gold pass, and since you don't let them pass." What happens if the the next train breaks down, and that family has to wait even longer than they already have, for it to be put on a transfer track, and have the next train come up, when that gold pass person only waited about 3 seconds? to me that's VERY unfair. But, we'll have to blame paramount for that one. ~vl2
  6. stupid people. that also creates a block for those people who do want to get out.
  7. it wouldn't sell for that much anyways.
  8. maybe they bought pointxtreme.com it has been under rehab for a long time now.
  9. yeah I tell on them. except I've never hd any run ins with a line jumper except for this one time someone else told on a line jumper when he was getting on drop zone, and I had just gotten on, and I really had to go to the bathroom, and the line jumpers refused to leave the ride for almost ten minutes I will always tell on line jumpers, because I don't want to pee myself.
  10. I love demon drop, beyond all other flats, except tomb raider. Yes, it is better than drop zone. BUT NOT BY FAR.
  11. wow... I feel that it will be something completely obvious, and everyone will say "OHHHHHH... I knew thaaaaa-aaaaat..." vl2 it's a shooting game!
  12. cnesored name for the penis game, where you shout the word penis
  13. I really hate it when people swear on roller coasters. There are children around sometimes, who haven't heard those words before, and they might repeat them, causing their parents to look bad, and then the parents will try and find someone else to blame it on, instead of accepting the fact that they have to punish their child, because they don't want to look worse by punishing the child, even though that makes them look good, and blaming it on someone/thing else makes them look like immature people. In fact, forget just that situation. I just hate it when parents feel that they can do that alltogether. They lie, and blame things on others, when they should just accept responsabilaty. Parents like that aren't adults. They are just people who have lived for an amount of years that happens to be more than 18, with growing out of that age's mindset. Hence the "MY CHILD RODE THIS 5 TIMES TODAY!" posts. Another thing that reallllllly gets me is when people play the *male private part* game in the FOF line. Also, I hate when people sitting in the rails in lines, and instead of walking they slide down the rail, sliding their butts (hard) over other hands on the rails. That's just inconsiderate. Also, what's gonna happen when they fall backwards and hit their head on the cement ground? POSIBILITIES: 1. Cracked head-High hospital bill-lawsuit from parents discribed above 2. dented skull-see parts 2 and 3 for choice number one 3. INSTANT DEATH- part 3 of choice number one-funeral-loss of loved one. vl2-is angry at stupid guests
  14. who cares if a park is selling merchandise for a roller coaster that might not open? They started selling Maverick merchandise before it was even done being built! and was see der fairness suposed to be a pun, or were you just disguising what you were actually saying? or did you mean both?
  15. what does that have to do with anything? I didn't say it was a bad ride- it's one of my favorites! I think it was just built carelessly.
  16. Not when I've been there! I rode Raptor and we only had 3 chairs filled, they dispatched it. My dad rode Magnum without a partner. The person in front of me rode TTD alone. We didn't need a 4th rider for demon drop. We didn't need someone next to me on iron draggon or corkscrew (not sure if that's spelled right...) But the whole sitting next to you without asking thing probably really bugs alot of people because of that whole riding with a stranger thing. I don't really like sitting there for 2-3 minutes with someone I don't know. Also, I agree with phantom theater about the bins.
  17. I think they built it too fast due to the carelessness of how it was built.
  18. okay, well this didn't happen at Kings Island, but its still really stipid. One time I was at Cedar Point and the dragster had been closed all day, so when it finnaly opened we went to get in line, which wasn't alloud in the que yet. We were about the 50th people in line. So when they open the ride, and people start filling the que we have to stop and wait while someone in my group checked if he was skinny enought to fit in the seat. Well, he wasn't skinny enough so he stood up, and told us to give him our cell phones and stuff, because we were just going to put them in zipper pockets. So we gave them to him, but it took about 20 seconds. Durring that 20 seconds a lot of people thought it would be okay to pass us. So when we started moving forward again we were about 75th in line. Then the people who were behind us at that point accused US of line jumping. We calmly explained to them what happened. They swore at us and demanded we let their group pass. We didn't want to cause trouble, so we let them. THAT was a bad idea, because after that we were about 100th in line. Another thing I hate is when people sit next to you without asking and then cover your face for the on-ride-photo that you were going to buy. Also, I once saw a shirt that said something along the lines of "GET OUTA MY WAY YOU ******* *****" vl2
  19. I'm not really scared of any rides at Kings Island. It's the anticipation that gets to me. In other words- i get scared in line, but I'm fine on the ride. Although I agree that drop zone is pretty scary/thrilling (or has too much anticipation involved, whichever sounds right for me) I would really have to say tomb raider is the scaryiest (or most anticipatie) because everyone knows what it does, and (the holding upsidedown, the constant flipping... the beeing one foot from plastic stalagtites...) and it really makes me nervous. My vote goes to tomb raider
  20. I know why they're doing it they all have those walking talking ear phone things in their ears, and there are people motivating them on the other side. vl2
