  1. Based on the art work it looks like many of the rides that will be in Planet Snoopy are already at the park, either in that same area already or over in camp snoopy... like the car ride, the balloon ride and also the frog hopper.
  2. How about opening up the mid course brake run and giving some love to the hanger and effects in line. Other than that I wouldn't change anything, it works well in X-Base.
  3. I would love to see the building removed, the ride reprogramed to be a top spin and rethemed to a western theme. Then a path built between trtr and The Beast so that the park guests could really see how amazing that huge ride is in action. Also this path would alow the park to get to all the land behind trtr and around white water canyon.
  4. Yesterday I was driving down 75 south comming home from Cedar Point (thank god for the max pass) and not far south of Findley I say about three flat bed truck carrying orange and yellow B&M track and a fourth truck carring small blue supports heading north. My thought is that they are on their way to Canada's Wonderland.
  5. I was able to go up to the park yesterday and ride sob. While in line I ran into an old friend of mine, tom wilson who was there with ryan (whom ive never met before). We only waited about 30 min. I have to admit I was very worryied and excited to try sob again. I am a taller person and the old trains always banged up my knees. I noticed that the first row in each train seemed to have a bit more leg room so thats where I headed. I was very impressed with the ride. It still does bounce around abit in the rose boll and a few other spots but it is much more bearable. Maybe because of the track work, the lighter trains, more room in the trains or a combination of all three. It seems like it is much smoother than both The Beast and definately The Racer. I really enjoyed the first part of the ride up until the second helix then it just gets boring especailly with no airtime. All in all a much improved ride and very rideable for all. Tom it was good to see you again and Ryan it was good to meet you. I hope we run into each other some other time at the park.
  6. I rode X-flight back in 04 and thought it was a very thrilling and satisfying ride. It produces very different sensations from most other rides in that you experience the ride both on your back and on your stomach. I also thought that the ride was an adequate length. The two things that I did not really like were when the train is dispatched and you roll out and turn towards the lift on your back (which was pretty disorienting) and also going up the lift on your back with the sun in your eyes. I have also ridden Superman Ultimate Flight. Like most of the other posts I felt that the trains felt slightly more comfortable on the B&M (not to say that X-flights trains were not comfortable and it was not smooth). However I thought SUF felt way to short and not nearly as thriling as X-flight.
