  1. AHHHH, there making a fourth Jurassic Park, a fourth Indiana Jones, we just need a fourth Back to the Future!
  2. Tomb Raider: The Hawk Hawk Raider: The Ride or maybe, Tomb Hawk: Bird of Prey Any of those work?
  3. Are you saying that SoB an The Legend are clones, and Holiday World LIED to us with their crazy mind tricks? Or is it something in the hot sauce?
  4. Ah, my sister is moving to Minneapolis, and I can't wait to take my first trip to the Mall of America, not to mention Vallyfair!
  5. Na. Too many B&Ms are colorful. I'd much rather have a more mellow, rustic color scheme.
  6. A strata-woodie? haha thats funny!
  7. B&M with a 300+ foot drop? I don't think so. At least not for a few years. (Although it would be fun.)
  8. Well there goes my theory that The Interpreter is Dick Kinzel under an alias!
  9. http://rcdb.com/id3475.htm http://rcdb.com/id1412.htm
  10. I say they just open a Sturkey's restaurant in the park and were golden!
  11. I second that! And then we should also organize CP trips!
  12. oooh, nice pictures! I just found out that I HAVE ridden the KI monorail, just too young to remember anything. Maybe I'm just weird for thinking this, but that is really frustrating.

    Vortex

^Ummm, I'm gonna hafta say no. they are both fun rides, but SoB gets a little boring after the rose bowl. Ride Vortex back seat and tell me it sucks. But anyways this topic reminds me. I took my friends to KI back in September for GE day and one was surprised to see Vortex still running 'cause he thought it was sinking. He thought they already removed it!!!
  14. They could always just build a giant retractable heated acrylic dome over KI and have it open year round.....
  15. I like the concept for Main Street America. It is close enough so that I may be able to visit it, as my grandparents live in Manistee, only a few hours from Grayling. Plus I love the green approach for this park, how they plan to power the park with a wind farm.
  16. Yup! He loves to steal the show. Him and Sweet Pea. Denver is considered by the divers to be the most dangerous animal in the tank. He is very curious and uses his beak like a hand!
  17. It's pretty popular. Shore Galleries is always jam packed with people waiting to get in before the show starts. I have never actually seen the show myself, though. But its even more funny when you see a half dressed Santa walking to the locker room after the show! Lol, "Hi Diver Dan, uhh, I mean Santa, how's the water? Has Denver been naughty or nice today?" (Denver is our loggerhead sea turtle in Surrounded by Sharks)
  18. Maybe add motion simulator seats to the Duke Energy Theater? But then that could get in the way of other venues, such as Scuba Santa and the various underwater proposals that happen in there. Not to mention private after-hour parties. We do have a kids play area though, by the entrance to Hidden Treasures of the Rainforest Islands, albeit it is a little small.
  19. Wow, this is surprising news! As a Newport Aquarium volunteer, I really want to know how this turns out, and hopefully for the better. Hershend seems like the company for the job, but I hope they don't lay off any full time employees, as I know several of them quite well. I also wonder how this will affect me as a volunteer. Anyways I really hope this is a smooth transition, I want our little gem of an aquarium to remain number 1 in the midwest!
