  1. There are some more photos in my photo TR. http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/28414-photo-tr-104-hauntBanshee-update/#entry562431
  2. Hey everyone. I met some of the KIC folks while I was waiting for two other friends to get to the park; I wasn't really planning on going around with the group, but it was nice to meet people. And see Youngstud is a real person. Rode Skyflier, Top Gun, Drop Zone, Beast, Diamondback twice. Ed Alonzo's show was great! Never seen any of his shows before. He's pretty funny, though I feel like he was trying a little bit too hard to be vulgar at some times of the show. But overall it was great, I'll see it again when I go back to Haunt. I did all of the 75% of the Haunts: Crypt, Urgent Scare, Wolfpack (twice), Delta Delta, Board 2 Death, Club Blood, and Slaughterhouse (twice). I think I'm forgetting one or two more. They were all hardly scary; the actors were very boring tonight. I hope it was just tonight. It wasn't like when I was working in Haunt. Most disappointing: Urgent Scare. Yeah, let's cut out the outdoor section AND forget the plot to this one. It used to be so good. Screw this maze. It's so so sad to see what it has turned into now. Delta Delta: Give us back Massacre Manor. It was alright...but again the actors were just, bored. Club Blood: WORST ACTORS EVER. No enthusiasm. They were just standing there. The MC was awful. I saw plenty of spots that would have been great to scare people. Board 2 Death; Seriously, half the actors were talking to each other when we came into the room. Then tried to scare the person leading the group. Seriously? Learn to scare. But the maze did look pretty good, they have the right idea just no execution. Slaughterhouse - Just no real scares here. There's a lot of theme and a lot of money and time put into this maze with some different ideas but nothing really worked. Hopefully they can fix things. Wolfpack was alright, they had a lot of actors in the maze. But the 2nd half of the maze is pointless. Bikes? Chairs? What the F. Keep with the woods theme and it would be much better. Madam's Crypt: Ehhhhh yeah it's got a cool set up. Yeah it's a step in the right direction. But it's short. Minus points. And again, the actors are obvious trying to act like they're fake just standing in the open. That's dumb. But a few smart actors got me to jump. Like Gabe said, the best parts of the night were Ed Alonzo's show, the drinks we had, and some rides on Diamondback, Top Gun, Drop Zone, and Beast. You go to Haunt to be scared - yes it was fun but nope, just not scary. I'll make sure to visit the Club later. Congrats, you lasted 2 minutes. RUN! I don't believe in you! Piranha 5D Ze Doctor. Odd Look. Dirt Mmmm lift hill. Taking a peek through the fence. Low low low to the ground Just as tall as Gatekeeper if you think about it. I love this ride. Do not take it away. Backside of Banshee This one wasn't bad. Drive wheels.
  3. Did they ever say how tall the first vertical loop is? Looks pretty small, should pull some g's.
  4. After working on Diamondback and riding 1000 times, yeah, you will find this. It's a really cool thing because it takes a while for the ride to get stale. My favorite row is row 2 - I believe you get better views, and it's a ton of fun hanging off the edge on the sides of the train. Instead of the middle middle, I like rows 4 and 10 - both provide a blend of sustained floater air; 4 gives you a little more push over the top, and 10 gives you more pull down the hill. And 15 is choice for the back since it's always had a rattle.
  5. No, Intamin is not dying. Bahahahaha. What started the thought of this? Competition from Mack and other companies? Competition will make the company stronger and smarter.
  6. The experiences will only be about 180 yards apart. They are both in Action Zone after all! (Yes, I understand what you meant. I had been waiting for a chance to use that image. Post of the week.
  7. Our inverting coasters are sub par and honestly unoriginal in this day and age. And Flight of Fear is getting shaky. It used to be a good ride, but now it's alright. Especially the way the MCBR slams you to a stop. It's about time we go a zero G in Kings Island, along with some unique inversions on a smooth B&M. Forget your silly thoughts about getting a 300+ft coaster, they went in the direction of a looping coaster. What's the best place to look for a looping coaster? B&M's inverted.
  8. It's the Banshee Creature you're so crazy about. The Banshee thing was just because the light looked like a Banshee. Besides its over the bier gartens. I was just playing on the stupidity and sillyness of the topic; strictly sarcastic. Looks like the loop will go through the piece of track that's up right now based on the renderings.
  9. It's the Banshee Creature you're so crazy about.
  10. I'm so mad that they took away Massacre Manor. That's KI's original haunt, and my personal favorite. It was always the best in my opinion. Just a classy classic haunted house. Why get rid of it? As a past Haunt member, I'm going to find my old managers and give them my input as a guest
  11. Holy crap that will be annoying.
  12. Possible? Perhaps. Probable? Maybe. You'd still be dumb as hell to try it, and you sound pretty c0cky about the opportunity to try it if it was possible.
  13. I'm sorry the B&M part is the dumbest thing I've ever read. Ever. This "You can ride a b&m hyper with no lap bar and be fine cause of no ejector." That's absolutely hilarious. You would most definitely fall out on the first drop of Diamondback, Apollo, Raging Bull, Goliath, you name it. Or any of the hills.
  14. You're saying someone took an Icee on the ride, and the train dispatched? I find that incredibly hard to believe. Actually, I don't believe that at all.
  15. You're Right~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Send it to Don ASAP......... This should be on Yahoo's front page right now. KICentral'S Best right here!!!!!! This is BREAKING NEWS. Is it really haunted?????????????????? Is it ?????????
  16. What is the point of this thread? Another person who didn't realize we had Intamin rides at the park, then it stems off into dreaming about giga coasters. Oh sweet. Yeah, Intamin flat rides exist. All you have to do is go to Kings Island's Wikipedia page to find out. It's hilarious that these threads keep getting created then just turn into a "boost your post count about bullcrap posts about B&M vs Intamin". C'mon guys. Recognize a dead thread and move on. Cut this crap out.
  17. Six Flags Great America has a watch tower in their parking lot! But yeh, nothing a blue solo cup can't fix.
  18. Thanks thanks thanks! I don't know which is worse...Magnum the ride itself....or people calling it Maggie! Gemini is extremely smooth. It's got the mine train feel at the end of the ride in the little helix.
  19. We decided to ride Magnum in the front row. And no I wasn't stapled. And I tried holding onto the lap bar for dear life, it didn't help one bit. It was pure torture. No amount of room left between you and the restraint will help.
  20. I've gotten a virus from the site and had to wipe my computer clean before. Yeah, that sucked. I didn't go to the site for probably 2 years.
  21. Cornball is soooo good. You're standing up the whole time.
  22. Another note, Magnum is unbearable. Those restraints are completely out dated, and I don't know how they run that ride! It crushes your thighs.
