  1. Xtreme Skyflyer is my second favorite flat ride at KI (#1 is Drop Zone obviously). I only ride it if it's $5 though. Really, I only ride it for the going up slowly, and than pulling the cord part. The rest is xtremely boring (pun intended). Slingshot is alot of fun also, I like it almost as much as Xtreme Skyflyer.
  2. Red side, the crew is always more enthusiastic and fun. Plus Red side feels smoother and wins most the time.
  3. Mine was Beast in 2001, it may have also been Top Gun/Racer/Vortex/Adventure Express because 2001 was the first year I was tall enough to ride those. I didn't become 54"+ until 2003 and thats when I first rode Face/Off/Flight of Fear/Delirium/Tomb Raider.
  4. I went to Kings Dominion for the first time ever on I305's opening day and I only got half the credits. But that was only because the park was open from 10-8 and it was extremely busy, and I rerode I305 alot and rode Drop Zone/Crypt. Out of the rides I got to ride, the must rides are... -Intimidator 305 -Dominator -Grizzly -Volcano: The Blast Coaster -Drop Zone -Crypt But you should be able to get every ride in since chances are it won't be too busy, plus you'll be able to reride I305 alot.
  5. I went to Boomerang Bay a few days ago and that place is seriously going downhill. Every slide needs a paint job badly, even buildings needed painted. There are some parts of the water park were there is absolutely no shade at all, than there are parts where it's cold because it's all shade and there are leaves and dirt all over the paths. On Sydney Sidewinder there were some parts of the slides that had dirt and leaves all over it and Crocodile Isle (I think thats its name) was filled with leaves and dirt. The water was freezing every where (at Splashin' Safari their water is 85ยบ+). And all the employees looked like they were bored (we were some of the only people at the water park, and half the Lemon Chill (ect) stands weren't even open. Also one side of Sydney Sidewinder wasn't operating and either was Snowy River Rampage. I'm not a huge water park fan, but I do love going to them and I have to say that Boomerang Bay is probably the worst I've ever been to.
  6. Mmmmmmm Maverick & Georgia Cyclone!
  7. GREAT PTR Jackson! It actually made me really sad reading this because Holiwood Nights was one of the best days of my life, and to make it even more sad, it was just over a week ago and I was talking to Will about Timberliners and well everyone knows the news Anyways, I'm still mad you weren't impressed with Voyage except in the front seat! I mean it is a little rough if you ride in the back seat of a car, but it's not Son of Beast rough (which I don't think is too rough, and speaking of SOB- it was 1 year ago from today when I last rode it). I had a blast at Holiwood Nights, I want to thank you for help making it so memorable. I have to say my favorite part was the water park ERT, mainly just because it was all the KICers (and -G) riding slides and acting crazy in the wave pool! And that breakfast was sooo gooooood! Did you see Ricky Racoon at Bakuli right as Splashin' Safari opened to the public?
  8. ^It is already $5.50
  9. haha! Thats hilarious! If I go to Dorney this summer I may buy it!
  10. It's one of the better coasters at Kings Island but probably not even in my top 30. Someone mentioned it'd be fun with the lights on... I've ridden with the lights on, lights completely off, show lights on, light on the first half than off the second, and flickered. All in one day too
  11. I like row 1, 7, 14 on Diamondback. Row 7 probably being my favorite. On Vortex I like 7-1 best, same for Top Gun.
  12. Son of Beast (TG close second) Drop Zone (duh) Log Flume
  13. ^Hmmm... I'm still going to try to ride it. I want to ride everything at HW (well besides some of the kids rides I'm too tall for) EXCEPT Hallowswings! I can not ride those! Although I may be willing to give it a try if it's the last thing I ride of the day because I didn't think I could handle Tilt-a-Whirls, but I rode Turkeywhirl and was spinning like crazy and wanted more!
  14. Voyage has a row 13? lol Frightfull falls there log flume is a nice flume, that you don't get soaked on. I think he meant the third row of the first car. And if he did, he's still wrong, Voyage's trains only have two rows per car. I still haven't ridden Frightful Falls (or Raging Rapids) this year! I rode both of them in 2000, but obviously don't remember them too well.
  15. Yeah that is kinda weird. Although I am very excited for HWN in a few days, your TR makes me miss Cedar Point so much. I only got to go once last year, and I feel like I haven't been in forever. Plus I miss all the coasters, rides, and atmosphere that CP has to offer.
  16. Wow, you guys got alot of rides in for such a busy day! True ride warriors!
  17. All of HW's major coasters opened on May 6 on different years. Howler (and probably Firecracker) were the only exceptions. So my guess is the next year to have May 6 be a Saturday is the year Holiday World will be getting another coaster.
  18. ^You get amazing airtime if you ride near the back, but in the front seat you get an amazing hanging sensation! Glad to hear you love all three woodies, especially Legend since alot of people complain it's too rough.
  19. Did you take a video? I'd like to hear the music and see how the lights change and stuff. I guess I'll just have to wait til when ever I get the gas money to go back to KI!
  20. Wow, great photos! Some photos I saw of it earlier made it not look too nice, but these really make it look pretty! I may have to go to KI sometime this week to check it out!
  21. So excited, I'm just wandering on what attractions it'll have still, or if any new ones. I'd like to get a season pass so I could visit alot and help out the park, but at the same time if it's over $70, thats too much since I'll be getting a SF/CF/HW/IB season pass next year. And about Chang, no it's 99% likely to be going to SFGAm after last nights meeting which approved it being built and a blue print photo was leaked.
  22. Posted Holiday World photos! And today I went back to HW, so expect another PTR tomorrow! http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=55342&p=898478#p898478
  23. I didn't feel like uploading my photos to tinypic than having to get the codes and stuff, so I decided to just upload them to Theme Park Review. So sorry you have to leave KIC to read it, but it's not too big of a deal. You don't have to be logged in, or be a member to see it. So please take a look and feel free to post comments here on KIC. Right now it's only the KI part, but Holiday World is coming up soon. I'll keep everyone informed as of when HW & videos will be posted! http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=55342 ^Click, and read!
