  1. I knew people on KIC were going to get angry about my post. I can't help it though, I really am very disappointed at Kings Island from my experience on Friday.
  2. I'd LOVE free drinks (even if it meant higher prices) ONLY if the former Paramount Parks switched to Pepsi though. If they kept it as Coke, than I would not like free drinks at all.
  3. I was there that day and didn't ride a single thing. Kings Island really disappointed me that day. Sadly every time I go to KI, the park seems worst and worst. I just wish Kings Island could be more like Holiday World.
  4. Two weeks ago I was at KI and it was packed so I just rode the smaller things without lines. I rode the log flume 12 times, and barley got wet at all. Last year you actually got more wet because of the elephant that actually sprayed you and the coconuts.
  5. ^Sorry but in the KIC rules it says "Anyone who likes Raptor more than Montu must be killed in a violent manor".
  6. I'm probably going to HW this Saturday, and I'm really excited to ride Voyage again! I know Raven's trains are PTCs and so are Voyage's current trains, but I wander if they will ride differently? I can't wait to take photos and videos of Voyage with a red train, its going to look so weird! Hopefully having double the capacity will make it a walkon so I can get my 50th. ride on it.
  7. ^Agreed, Montu is my favorite B&M invert also.
  8. I 'rode' them on opening day. They were very fun, defiantly one of my favorite 'rides' at Kings Island!
  9. Don't be ashamed, we all know you watch it. You caught me. I'm actually watching it right now as I'm writing this! Can't type too much, gotta pay attention to my Glee!
  10. No one should complain about the Timberliners not being ride-able. If you have ridden Voyage before, it's an amazing coaster with the PTCs. It's my all time favorite coaster, wood or steel. And honestly, I could care less about the Timberliners even being added, the ride isn't broken, why fix it? I actually fear that the Timberliners are going to make the ride not as good.
  11. I'd like to make it out to BBay this year, I only went once this year and didn't even get to ride anything.
  12. Thanks, It's hard to believe how fast time goes sometimes! Haha yeah, we took Will's Plunge IN THE RAIN! Had a great time hanging out! Thanks! It's my #1 also. Nick and I are almost as soaked as you are and we didn't take Will's Plunge! Rain rides on Legend did that to us! Though the POURING rain rides on Voyage on Sunday were a whole different story ... remember our epic KI trip in the downpour last year after SFKK? It was kind of like that. I'm pretty sure I could wring water out of my t-shirt, and that's from under a jacket!! We decided since we were already soaked we'd ride Raging Rapids, and only Nick got wet. Yeah those rides on Legend in the rain were amazing, I just I wasn't on the right side of the train! Thanks! Yeah I'm kinda mad about the splooge too, I was wearing my white Thunderhead shirt, and it doesn't look too white anymore! I had a BLAST hanging out with you, thanks again for taking us! It was probably the best day of my life!
  13. Shockwave at Six Flags Great America was built on a parking lot wasn't it? Superman: Ultimate Flight was built where Shockwave was, and they planted grass and landscaped the area. http://cache.rcdb.com/pictures/picmax/p4577.jpg ^Shockwave http://cache.rcdb.com/pictures/picmax/p9600.jpg ^Superman In the photo of Superman, it seems like since that photo was taken, more landscaping was added because I remember seeing some pine trees and mulch areas in 2008.
  14. Haha! I love how you have Mean Streak on your dislikes!

  15. ^Well if thats the case, this is going to suck! Now I'm wandering what SF park I will buy my season pass at next year...
  16. Although that does kinda suck, just look at it this way; atleast it's not going to be $160 like at a Cedar Fair park! My SFOG season pass only cost $40, I think...
  17. Islands of Adventure looks like an amazing park, I can't say much because I've only been there three times; in 1999, 2001, and 2003. Hopefully I can get back to there one year and get to actually ride stuff and take in the atmosphere, considering I went when I was 6, 8, and 10. I do remember that The Lost Continent was my favorite Island, but after the whole Harry-Potter stuff I may like Jurassic Park better.
  18. Columbus's zoo looks really nice! I've never been, but maybe I'll make it up there some time this year?
  19. I can't really tell where that is, but from the looks of it, it looks like that is the second helix.
  20. ^I will for sure be going back two more times this year. I also have 1 free ticket. How about we plan a day to go and invite other KICers?
  21. Glad to hear you finally got your roll back! Now when do I get mine?
  22. I miss Holiday World so much, it really is probably my favorite park. I love that shot of Legend, I may have to make that my new background! Did you make it into Splashin' Safari? If so, how did you like Wildebeest?
  23. Theres not going to be very many, if not any trees at all besides the queue area. They would probably just plant grass like how they did with Dominator at Kings Dominion.
  24. Thanks for posting these awesome photos! Maybe you could do it again some other time, but when the park is closed. When the park is closed I think you can fly alot closer. Right?
