  1. Ah. I couldn't remember exactly, but I knew it got the point across.
  2. The pass says something along the lines of: "This pass will get you in the park on any public operating day." I don't remember exactly what it was, I know I'm way off. Its been a year or two since I last had a season pass, and I haven't read the fine print of my tickets.
  3. I wouldn't count it twice, its still pretty much the same ride. Of course, really its all a matter of preference/opinion/how many credits you want to have.
  4. Its really a matter of opinion/preference. I always counted The Racer as two, but I don't count Avatar.
  5. I'd want Apollo's Chariot or Expedition Everest... On second thought, Apollo's Chariot. Cedar Fair would ruin Everest's theming. Not sure where I'd want it to go though, I don't know much about the area, and I don't know where it would fit inside the already developed part of the park.
  6. Drop Zone scares me the most out of the ones I've ridden before. I've rode 20+ times, and it still scares me. I'm a bit freaked about getting on Firehawk, though. Having never been on a flying coaster, I'm scared. But, I know I'm gonna have to ride it; my friend and cousin are gonna force me. XD
  7. I miss the Flying Eagles and Antique Cars. Man, I always sucked at the Eagles, but my friends and my dad could do pretty good. I loved the Antique Cars, they were so relaxing.
  8. That looks like an AWFUL storm. We had lots of lightning and heavy rain here in Columbus, but it wasn't that bad. At least you got to ride what you wanted, and had fun. I remember one time I went to Kings Island and there was snow and hail. It was like a blizzard, and the hail hurt really bad when we were running back to our car.
  9. I knew they were pretty similar. I've rode both, I prefer ours. I think I enjoy the view you get as you spin around the tower. If KD has opened theirs, then I feel ours should re-open soon enough. They're pretty similar. I guess it really depends on when they get the inspections and such done.
  10. I generally just ride indoor rides or do some shopping until the rain/storm passes. I know at Cedar Point one year I went, it was raining buckets, and I rode the Himalaya and Tilt-A-Whirl.
  11. I hear Kings Dominion has also opened their Drop Zone, and its the same model as ours (Intamin 3rd Gen Freefall) right?
  12. I know I'm late; but I'll have the girl in my thoughts and I hope she'll make a full, fast recovery. Bless her and her family. When I first heard about the accident, I was at Smokey Bones, waiting for my food. I was watching one of the TVs they had on CNN and I saw it. It just said 'Ride Accident' or something equally uninformative. Then they finally had the bulletin pass by on the crawler, and I was in complete shock and horror. It does not make me fear drop rides, as I know it was a freak accident, but I couldn't seem to wrap my mind around it.
  13. Yeah. My family wanted to go this weekend, but I urged them not to. I want to go after SoB opens so I can see if its improved. I liked it before, but I got so bruised up it wasn't funny. Plus, they wanted to go on a Saturday, which seems very inopportune as far as lines go. I think I've convinced them that Tuesdays or Wednesdays are better. I do enjoy going during Fear Fest, and not just for the attractions. The temperature is much more bearable, the scenery is great, the trees are pretty, and I usually find short lines for all of the coasters and other rides during Fear Fest. When I had season passes, I would go on one of the Nick-Or-Treat only days so I could ride all of the rides with short lines. You guys are making me so pumped for when I do finally go. I can't wait! (Although I will, hopefully until after SoB opens.)
  14. I also enjoy IJ:ST, it ranks pretty high on my list of rides I enjoy at KI. Its just, I loved the Flying Eagles and 'Tiques. Does anybody even ride Days of Thunder these days? I also feel that IJ would have fit more with the Hollywood action-esque Action Zone. Just my two cents. Why take away two enjoyable rides for one, when you could take an upcharge attraction that isn't very popular (at least it didn't seem like it to me) for an enjoyable ride.
  15. Sounds like great fun! Can't wait until I finally make it to KI this year! I only get one, maybe two trips this year, so I'm waiting for the most opportune time for my family and friends.
