  1. I was there as well on Friday....The day was spectacular until the storm. I was stuck under the awning at IJ:ST and my wife was at the restroom by The Beast/La Rosa's. I have never gotten so wet in my life... The hail hurt as well. the monsoon left standing water in front of LaRosa's at least 8 inches deep. I saw numerous people wading through it. However, we were able to ride 7-8 rides in the 3 hours we were there: - Beast - IJ:ST - Vortex - FOF - Racer - Scooby Doo, Haunted Castle - Avatar - Eiffel Tower I can't wait to go back next year.
  2. Thanks....I will definitely take most of these pointers.. I am definitely excited about riding The Beast and The Racer. It has been way too long.
  3. Hey All, My wife and I are going to KI on friday. This will be the first time for me since 2001. Unfortunately we are going to keep the day short lived (approx. 6 hours at the park). What are the must do's and the rides to avoid. I want to make sure that I get alot of excitement and enjoyment, but I honestly don't no where to begin.....My wife isn't much of a thrill seeker, so some of the rides I will definitely be riding solo. Does KI have a "fast pass" program like Disney, etc. Or how bout single rider lines? Thanks for any help you can give.
  4. I haven't been to KI since 2001, but I wish I could ride the following rides at least one more time.... 1 - The Flying Shoes (can't remember the name) 2 - Ferris wheel across from the swinging ship 3 - Smurfs 4 - Zodiac 5 - Flying Eagles and Log Flume by The Beast (I can't believe those two have been removed) I am going back to KI for the first time at the end of July. Even though I am now 30+, and taking kids from my church youth group, I am still very excited to return. Hopefully I am not disappointed
