I actually know for a 100% fact that they are bringing back the CornStalkers! I also know a little about the Rated R Scare House they're having this year.

Excellent idea! But if KI builds a parking lot behind Boomerang Bay, that eliminates the chance for expansion back there, or even new rides for the park. Parking lots take up lots of space that could be used for better things, or even just for natures beauty. I like the idea of another entrance, but I don't like the idea of giving up valuable land space that could be used for more fun in the future.

Just another thing the media will jump on to try to say that theme parks are dangerous and you should keep your kids away. Sucks.... cause that same thing could've happened on the street.

I think you're missing the point here, man. The important thing is that this poor girl is still alive. What's done is done, so we can't go back and change it. But she is doing much better in a technical sense. I mean, she started out with no feet, and thanks to modern medicine, she has at least one back.

I agree 100% with Boddah on this one. No one can prove with actual figures that attendance is down, and I (who is at the park 6 out of 7 days every week) am a good source to say that it is anything but DOWN. Just because you can ride a ride 4 or 5 times in a day doesn't mean anything but good ride ops and a fun day in my opinion.

Enchanted Voyage, hands down.

I'm predicting that it has something to do with KI's website. If you'll notice, the Paramount is gone from the top of the browser when you go to their site. This leads me to believe there are major things in store for it. We'll see....

I completely agree with Coasters on this one. Having seen all five shows, four of them more than once, I can honestly say that KI's Entertainment department deserves and has earned the upmost praise for all they have achieved this season. The skating is tremendous in Endless Summer, the singing is fantastic in Hot Island Rhythms, the choreography and energy is amazing in Meet The Nicktoons, Dora's Singalong Adventure is a hit with every kid and parent that sees it, and Twistin To The 60's brings back hits from the days when things were simple. So KI is definitely not lacking in their entertainment this season. Another thing. You can't fault the Entertainment Department for the shows they are performing. They're doing a fantastic job, and they didn't choose the shows they're doing, they're just making the best out of them.

I know this may be a long time from happening, but I can't help but let my mind wander. So I'm asking everyone else to let yours do the same. When Cedar Fair finally does decide to change, or retheme Tomb Raider, what will they do? Will the knock the building down? Will they keep the Egyptian-tomb theme? What will they do? Personally, I would enjoy seeing the whole thing blown up, and a new ride put in its place. But we all know that won't happen. I wouldn't mind seeing the building go, and have it be an outdoor ride like the one in Texas, maybe possibly over some water.

I highly recommend everyone see Meet the Nicktoons Live At Five. The dancing is incredible, and the entire cast has such high energy. The kids will love it, and even if you think you are too old, chances are, you will find yourself clapping your hands along with everyone else. Great show! Mad props, entertainment department!

It actually MIGHT BE 4.8 seconds! I dropped my watch...

I rode Flight of Fear just a few days ago, and having been to the park since I was very young, I have ridden it many many many many times. And I can definitely say that it is BRIGHTER in there than it used to be. I wouldn't exactly call it lights on, but I can tell you that it is a lot easier to see in there than it once used to be. One disappointing thing is the stop/slow down that occurs about halfway through. It kills the buzz for about 4.6 seconds... but it's still an awesome ride... one of my faves.

Thank God Todd Coffey got sent back down to the minors. I would rather spit on him than get his autograph. BTW... can someone go and ask them how they feel about being in last place?

Well although I do not have ALL the facts, like Inter seems to have, I can positively say that whatever agreement KI has with the owners of the rights to the HB characters, it is a very flexible one. HB characters are free to do just about anything in the park, as long as they are not seen with any Nick character.

HB doesn't own the rights anymore and so KI can use the HB characters to whatever discretion they want. Usually the HB characters are only seen in the picnic groves, walking around and saying hi to people while they're eating. This is due mostly because they picnic grove shelters are still HB themed and so it's fitting for the characters to be there. Since the front gate area has no theme, it's not uncommon to also see an HB character there from time to time. But it has nothing to do with the ice show or anything like that... sometimes the Entertainment Department likes to mix things up a bit, and bring back the good ole days!

I still don't understand why the heck Scooby had to be in a Nascar outfit. I was excited for and expecting him to come out on the ice chasing a skating ghost or a box of Scooby Snacks or something humorous like that. I can't count the number of things I would've done differently in that show.

Has anyone caught the Meet the Nicktoons show? It is amazingly choreographed, and really high energy!
