It would be awesome to see Screeching Eagle at Kings Island

Son of Beast came to a complete stop for a few seconds half way up the hill and then continued at full speed when it crashed

I have mixed feelings about it because me personally I dont like the water park, but my family loves it so I really am intrested to see how much truth there is about it.

I have heard from a good friend who says she has heard that Cedar Fair will be removing Boomerang Bay for new rides and rollercoasters. Does anyone know anything about this or anyone else hear this yet? NOTE: THIS IS A RUMOR MAY NOT BE TRUE.

O no not again. If everytime a ride breaks down somebody says tear it down as if killed everyone on it

I was there for a brief amount of time and I actually got beat up more on The Beast the Sonny. But only because that stupid lapbar went all the way down on my waist and locked on the first hill. Also why wasn't Drop Zone spinning?

They just slow you down way to much like the Flight of Fear brakes do.

Ok since they can't make it go thru a loop they should at least take those stupid mid course brakes off or not slow us down so much.

Actually I think they knew something was wrong with SOB on that day especially since when I was at the park the day before and they kept shutting the ride down

I had ridden TR not long before they shut it down and it was running good just not the themeing

Yeah your right I had forgotten Intamin told them to Shut Drop Zone down.

It sounds like to me they meant to shut down Son of Beast again, Drop Zone, and now Tomb Raider

Ok first off I created this thread for the people who love SOB and want to see it. Also just to have a little fun on this site. Second SOB did indeed crash I know. I also understand a crash of any type is unacceptable. But Sonny never almost killed anyone. Top Thrill Dragester and Superman Tower of Power or whatever it is at SFKK came closer to killing people before SOB did. Also a bad rep can be rebuilt. Sonny isn't damaged for life. The ride is coming back. Just a thought I was having, does anyone know if KI still has the 118 foot tall loop that once was in the Son of Beast?

What can be done to make this ride better than it already is? I personally think they need to take off the mid course brakes or at least not slow it down as much and put the loop back in. Especially since I have heard the ride ops say it now faster than ever why not do this. You can still have the G-Trains and the loop.
