  1. I know we have a LOT of coaster fans here, but I think they need a good haunted house/dark ride. They could make it like the Enchanted Voyage-a boat ride-that way the water could give you a cooler, damp, almost clammy feeling. It could be broken down into different sections-they could have an area pay homage to the great bad guys-Freddy, Jason, Dracula, Frankenstein, etc. There could also be a dungeon area, an "experiment gone awry", graveyard. About 2/3 of the way through, they could have you exit the boats and riders would have to navigate through a maze to fully exit the attraction. Considering all of the different things that scare people, the designers would only be limited by their imaginations in creating a really good, scary ride.
  2. I, and many others, are not going to laugh at you. That's fine. What rides that you grew up with are long gone that were among your favorites? (Enchanted Voyage? Phantom Theater? Something else?) I loved the original Enchanted Voyage before it went all Smurf-y LOL It was a nice ride to just sit down, cool off & relax in. I also loved the small log flume before it was re-themed with the darn elephant. Something about that elephant just doesn't sit well with me. And the cars-not just the Antique Cars, but the little sporty one that used to intertwine with them. And my all-time fave-The Witch's Cauldrons. I LOVED watching my mom turn green when she rode it with my brother & I. LOL And thank you for not laughing. Most people I know and encounter are incredulous when I tell them I do not like roller coasters. They act like there is something wrong with me.
  3. I send in comments-both good AND bad. I m actually more apt to send in good comments than bad because most people never take the time to thank someone for doing their job & doing it well. Most people only speak up when something goes wrong.
  4. You guys are all gonna laugh at me (bracing myself for it right now), but I am not a thrill ride/coaster kinda girl. My 2 favorite rides are White Water Canyon (I love getting drenched) and the Bumper Cars (it's the nostalgia, I think) LOL Most of the rides I grew up loving are long gone, so KI doesn't have the thrill for me it once did.
  5. I'm not mch for riding the coasters & such, so I know I will have time to kill while my friends ride them. I try to bring extra money just to play the games while I'm waiting (beats pigging out on junk food!) I always seem to get lucky and win something big, then I have to listen to my friends beg me to win them something. I can never seem to win again then I get accused of "paying off the game guys". Instead of carrying those huge critters around all day as a trophy-they immediately go to the car. In the case of smaller prizes, a locker. They are just too darn inconvenient.
  6. Maximum Overdrive. A twisted Stephen King story, about trucks that go crazy and start taking over. Creepy. I can't think of anything else right now, I know I have a ton of ideas though. Would about a Resident Evil sort of ride, zombies coming after you, etc. I don't know, I'm just throwing this stuff out there. I like the Maximum Overdrive idea-not sure how they would pull it off being based on rather large vehicles and such, but it they definitely wouldn't have to worry about a soundtrack since the movie alreay had a kick a$$ one. If they could work this into a dark ride, I would LOVE it!
  7. Regarding overweight people wearing things they shouldn't-blame THAT on the designers & manufacturers. I have always said that certain things (especially spandex and leather) should come with both age AND weight limits! I have ranged from a size 2 to a size 12, so I can say this without feeling like a hypocrite. Also-maybe KI should be stop giving away those #$@^% basketballs! Obviously most of the people who win them are not mature enough to handle their balls in an appropriate manner LOL My biggest peeves are (in no particular order) 1-Guys bullying their kids/significant others to get on rides they don't want to ride. If someone in your group dopesn't want to ride something, respect their wishes and stop acting like an a$$ about it. 2-Line jumpers. 3-The "Death Rumors". 4-I am a smoker and I respect the wishes of non-smokers by not lighting up around them. But if you are a non-smoker in a desiognated smoking area-don't complain about me polluting your air. 5-People who feel the need to eat every bit of junk food available in the park then complain after a ride that they don't feel so good. Just my opinions-take 'em or leave 'em
