  1. I will be going as well today with my girlfriend, hope to see everybody up there today for one last time of the year and hope to have a very memorable day today as i will no doubt. I will have a black long sleeved Goshen Warriors Basketball shirt and my sweatshirt will be the same thing also, if you happen to see me feel free to come up and say hi, i would be glad to meet some of the people here and put faces to names on the forums

  2. Well I seem to be the only one watching the webcam even when they aren't doing anything, and That has paid off!

In the Picture below you can see a shadow of what could be a new support, (Which is likely because there are less yellow supports on the bottom left hand of the screen) right in between the first Lift Support:

The shadow that is just to the left of the first lift support is for this support here. The shadow that goes between the first lift support is the shadow of the new crane.

  3. Great TR Ronny, couldn't have been any better. As always excellent photos and it was nice to meet you. I had a great time at the event and im still trying to find the perfect spot to put my new teaser sign. Cant say it enough, thanks to everybody involved in making Saturday such a fun filled day, it was a great time and i hope we can do it again next year

  4. I would like to thank everyone from Kings Island and KICentral for making yesterday such a fantastic day at the park. It was nice to see everyone from the site at the park yesterday and put faces to some of the names. I had a really great time and i know my dad did also. We did so much great things at the park i cant decide what was my favorite part of the day. I would also like to thank the cast of Flashback: Totally 80's for speaking with us and also would like to thank Tony and Jeff for speaking with us also.

  6. Does anyone know the song they play at Boomerang Bay, it almost sounds like the Beach Boys and they make like a weird noise at one part of the song when they're singing.....i probably sound like an idiot lol

The Beach Boys making a weird noise? That IS singing.

Terpy, never a fan....that was his parents' music, or so he'd like to think...

lol it wasn't the Beach Boys that isn't what i meant hahaha, i'll try and describe the sound as best as possible

bow-bow bit da da....ba bow-bow bit da da

that goes on for like 5 minutes in the song, its someone making the noise in the song, while the actual singer is singing.

    lol

The only song i could think of is Surfin by the Beach Boys

  7. My family has a pretty good strategy, we always park right by the exit out of the parking lot, then we can either watch the fireworks from inside the park then only have to wait about 15 minutes from the time we get to the car to the time we finally get on Kings Island Dr or in the past we have sat around in the parking lot and watched the fireworks there and right after the grand finale is done we get in the car and leave right then. The parking lot gives a pretty good view of the whole fireworks show but you cant hear the music very well that is the only down side to it

  8. Girls Night Out showtimes are 5:00, 6:00, 7:30, and 8:30 everyday except Tuesday and Thursday (off day). Tuesdays showtimes are 1:00, 3:00, 4:00, 6:00, and 7:30

  9. Great TR and I understand how you felt about the rain as i was also at the park Tuesday but as you said its the chance you take. That storm that came through when you were at Vortex was pretty crazy but the reason they told you to take shelter was most likely because it was causing Tornado Warnings in Indiana before it got to the park but did not cause anything real bad at the park. Im glad to hear about the guy that told you guys to take better shelter because that is just telling you that in the most dangerous weather situations they want to make sure that everybody is safe from the storm.

I would like to know though why every coaster except Firehawk was only running one train, just seemed a little odd. Also the Delirium issue, Im not sure if it ran Wednesday but i was at the park Thursday and Delirium ran for a couple of hours then closed down again so i dont know if there is a problem that maintenance is just unable to solve or if its just a string of little things happening with the ride.

  10. No early ride times on Tuesday, all early ride times for June are on Mondays for Nick U, Thursdays for Coney Mall, and Fridays for Action Zone but please remember that these are for certain rides in these areas and not for every ride in that area

  11. The season pass page says the processing center is open 4-8 PM Monday-Friday and during park operating hours on weekends. I would say these hours still stay in effect even though the park is open but i would try to either get there earlier or try to call the park to verify these hours unless someone else on here knows more

  12. When I went opeing day,at the end of the day we got on The Racer and rode it 15 times in a row,but about 6 times we saw this person getting arrested.Does anyone know why?

If it is the same person who was waiting for the front seat of the Red Racer about seven o’clock: Then I can only offer my observation as I was waiting right next to him and his wife (assumption). When I walked up I noticed the operator was taking her time and not dispatching the trains with the Blue Racer and in fact she would talk with the checkers just to slow things down. I spoke up to the guy and his wife about how they where dragging things down. Well as the guy started to speak I figured out what was wrong he started speaking loudly ( not yelling) about how great Cedar Fair is now because they sell beer all over the park and could care less if they had a no smoking policy because he doesn’t smoke. He then but his weight on his right leg and almost fell to the ground, I could see that he was really drunk and at some point hurt his leg maybe from a fall. The operator would not let a train come back into the station until security came up as they where the next to be loaded. When security got there they asked him politely to get out of line and talk to them. The train then came in and out I went, nice smooth ride on the front (in case you where wondering). When I got back to the station they where walking him and his wife down the exit slowly because of his knee as I was walking right behind them I could see a KI security vehicle parked on a dirt part by an employee exit. They told him to go with them to the vehicle but told his wife that she would need to go a different way as the vehicle looked full. He was not yelling and cursing or anything they were not struggling with him and he did not have hand cuffs on him. I knew he was extremely intoxicated and thought maybe they needed to get him away from the general public and because of his knee they would give him a ride to where ever they felt they needed too. I don’t think he was arrested from my point of view.

I saw the two getting escorted down the exit when i got off red racer. I could tell the operators on both sides were trying to help the security staff out anyway they could because when the train i was supposed to get on came in the station they unloaded the train and didnt open the gates for about 5 minutes.

P.S. I witnessed an employee being taken down The Beast exit on a stretcher, I hope he is ok now and doing well.

Always hate to see something like that happen, depending if Gabe (aka Captain Nemo) was there or not maybe he can offer some insight on the incident.
