I still think the Dino’s trail could be repurposed for Halloween and Winterfest in some capacity.

What if...... the B&M “attraction” is a prototype? What kind of coaster could that be? Since B&M has dabbled in launching, maybe it could be a launched giga?... or launched flyer? Or something none of us have ever seen before? i wouldn’t mind seeing a completely new themed area.

Well, it was written by Bill Hanna, (Coney Islands and Kings Island own) Dennis Speigel, and Paul DeCourt. I’m assuming the song is under control of Hanna/Barbera.

I agree. Since the Peanuts have basically every season covered, maybe KI could go back to the old “Enchanted Voyage” concept and you could ride through every Peanuts season spring to winter with the Linus and Lucy theme song playing.

Good idea! How about enclosing Amazon Falls, renaming it The Catacombs. Then people ride the ride, step off the ride and walk through a dark walk-through haunted catacombs to escape!

Invertigohawk, Bathawk, Bansheehawk, Adventure Expresshawk, Blue/Red Racerhawk, Flight of Fearhawk, Vortexhawk, Beasthawk, Back Lot Stunt Coasterhawk, Diamondbackhawk, Mystic Timberhawk, all the Kiddie Hawk coasters...

This ride looks like so much fun, perhaps indoors with a space theme in X-Base? i wonder if it comes with the European workers that stand on the platform manually spinning the cars? Jeesh! Couldn’t pay me enough to do that.

Experimental Testing Flight Training Site...and the other sign says Tactical Experimental Stratospheric Technologies. I know the sign has been around forever, but for some reason the “stratospheric” part of the sign jumps out at me.

Bring back skeeball and fascination (California bingo) games. Both are fun.

Ok... time for a little speculation. Since this area is “X-Base” the section is geared towards military “training and experimentation “ what could the theme be? Does anyone have a picture of the sign pointing at X-Base from Coney mall that they would like to post here? The sign says a few things that could point towards some ideas about what might be replacing Firehawk.

I’ve never had an issue going through any line at the parking gates with a gold pass. I think the confusion is in the way the signs read. I got in a line the other day that said credit card only. It was the first time I had seen that, and people were darting in and out of the lane to get to a gold pass lane or cash lane. When I got there, there was a gold pass scanner that worked. Maybe they just need an attendant monitoring two lanes or to revisit the process. Undefined lane lines are a part of the problem. Or maybe at least have someone at every lane until the crowds get smaller as the night goes on.

Ok. Tell us more about Flight of Cheer. Music? Decorations? Sights and sounds?

What a fantastic TR! I hope to go to the zoo during the Festival of Lights. What a fantastic event. Lots of fun. I still haven’t seen Fiona. Heck she’s practically full grown now. Can’t wait to see her though!

About the horse drawn carriages....I know it’s in Coney Mall. I wonder if it will be behind the scenes, like on the road behind Racer? I can’t imagine riding up and down a crowded midway, but that would mean additional decorations, I would think. Im interested in finding out. In the first incarnation of Winterfest, when there were carriage rides, it was though Coney Mall but the park was not using Coney Mall for Winterfest at the time.

Haunt has never truly been family friendly. Then it was expanded to kiddie days, and boo necklaces. See also WEBN at the earlier haunts. Not at all family friendly. I expect there will be zones for families at Winterfest. I’m excited for the whole concept. I just hope the weather is as good for this season as with last season!
