  1. Or walk across a snowy frozen tundra of a parking lot in shorts! i'm not going to lie, that was probably the most fun i've had at Kings Island.
  2. take a look at post #330 (the last post on page 11 of this thread, if you have the default settings).
  3. i did NOT nit pick your post, i just wanted to better understand how you seem to know so much about the success of trick or treating with the dinosaurs when it hasn't even occurred yet. so many members on this site fly off the handle when something isn't the way they think it should be, whether it be the year's new attraction, a policy the park changed, ect... truly, it gets old fast.
  4. how exactly do you know that 'a lot' of those kids you saw last year would be terrified of animatronic dinosaurs? unless you know each of the kids you saw personally, i don't see how you could come to that conclusion.
  5. my guess would be yes, mainly because that 5 dollars a child, and possibly adults too, helps cover the cost of the mini pumpkins they're giving out, the craft supplies being used to decorate the pumpkins, and the candy being handed out to them. i honestly don't see that being that bad of a deal, especially when your kids get into the park for free, but to get a creditable answer it would be best to call guest relations.
  6. i did a quick search and found topics about the latest major monorail accident ('09) and didn't see anything after a quick skim through that topic. anywho, would someone please tell me the age of the current fleet of monorails at the walt disney world resort? also, how many fleets of monorails has walt disney world had since it opened? oh, and just as a side note, it's been reported that the walt disney world resort is currently in the testing stages with monorail peach, the two damaged halves salvaged from the monorail accident in 2009.
  7. wow, for the first time in a while i can see both sides of the story. obviously six flags did what was right, they saved an animals life that was deliberately placed in danger. however, i can see the woman's problem with the situation too, after all six flags magic mountain did lose her dog, even if it was after they saved it's life. ...but, i do stand by six flags decision to remove the dog from the vehicle.
  8. it was a topic last night, but then it was deleted. i'm not sure if anyone does know (besides the park and those who are invited to the park buyout), but if it means anything, i'm pretty sure, that was toyota day last season.
  9. Kings Island's next door neighbor has a water coaster that you can ride year 'round.
  10. that's correct, Kings Island never said anything about the ride carriage on WindSeeker dropping during the ride. the only thing that would have had 'drop' mentioned would be when they compared the height, not the ride experience, to Drop Tower, along with the Eiffel Tower. edit: i guess i should specify that i was referring to teenageninja's post as being 'correct.'
  11. yes its still there and its the Son of Beast no, Vortex is referring to the animatronic? that was along side The Beast's track last season during haunt. they had fog machines around it and, i believe, red flood lights. also, wasn't it during the day they had a tarp over it so you couldn't see it except during haunt.
  12. ...or how about they just give them to us because they want to get it away as quickly as possible.
  13. ^i disagree, even though the topic is no longer relevant to you, i believe that it should stay open so future members will have a place to see the information provided for this job position.
  14. i'm pretty sure don has said that for the 2012 season Soak City will be included in park admission, but whose to say about 2013 or later? i wonder if it becomes a separate ticket if gold passes will still get you in, or if you'll have to upgrade to a platinum pass in order to use the wet park.
  15. i'm confused, was there a second multi-lane mat racing slide at Kings Island's boomerang bay? the one to the left of the entrance is in the concept drawings:
  16. last season my sister brought one of her friends along to Halloween Haunt. while we were going through wolf pack her friend grabbed the hoodie i was wearing and dug her face into my back and pushed us so fast through the maze that we had one of the actors stop us and make us wait so we didn't run into the group in front of us. haha also while standing in line my sister was freaking out before we went inside the maze (after they've grouped you off), the scaractor asked my dad quietly what her name was and he nodded his head. next while walking past her he said, "please stay for dinner, tonight harley is on the menu." the actor didn't get quite the response he was looking for because she stopped freaking out, got really close to his face examining him and asked, "do i know you?" haha
  17. i think having it there would be a universal problem.
  18. although it hasn't been announced, kings dominon's main web-page says "new for 2012, WindSeeker and Dinosaurs Alive"
  19. http://rcdb.com/r.htm?ot=2&mo=8300 six are still standing, but of them only five are open.
  20. usually that price goes away when the park closes for the season, then the higher price is posted until gold is stopped for the year.
  21. once the gold pass goes away, usually at the end of may, the only passes available for purchase are platinum passes and regular passes.
  22. ^ i pm all the time on here, earlier today even, all the time, i don't think that's it.
  23. well, i guess since it's our last chance to post in this topic, i might as well do it. haha
