I hope they add a few marquee things on I-Street that shows ride times for rides witht the longest lines, i think i mentioned this in another thread a while ago

I'm confused. Is this a joke?

Ugh this drives me crazy!! Racer and Meanstreak have it the WORST!!! People spit their gum onto the wooden planks or walls in the break-runs!! It's disgusting!! It makes me want to put gloves on, pick the gum off the wood and shove it down their throats.

I've got a live interview with Channel 5 at my house at 3:30
live as in they're cutting into doctor phil? Or is it going to be on at like 5 or 6?
-
Sorry if I'm coming off as bragging, but here is the online article in which I am mentioned:
I heard that on News 5 at 6! Congratulations! Don Helbig was even comenting on you! You're famous now!

If you're still running errands, (which I doubt) you might want to check micheals or Jo-ann fabrics, they usualy have cheap, blank hoodies. They each have atleast one GreaterDayton location that I know of, by the Dayton Mall, thats way on the south side but they might also have stores near FairField Commons Mall

^I think that's for maintenance, but not sure.
I think CF will do a great job with DBack. I love the way the splash-down is turning out and it will probably look even beter on saturday. I really hope they go with the lights in the picture I posted earlyer, string-lights like what are on Vortex and The Racer imo would look really tacky on this ride. I can't wait to see what DB adds to the park's skyline at night!

I just saw a commercial on wlwt and they just said opening day tickets are $15 off if you buy on line

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, fella! I'll be riding The Beast on Opening Day for sure. I wonder if it'll have a special 30th anniversary sign on the trains like it did for it s 20 anniversary? I also hope they have the stats in the station like they did for the 25th anniversary.
IT??? IT???? The Beast is a HE!!!!

Happy Birthday Beast!

This is why I'm so impressed with Cedar Fair. They're putting in all these great events paramount would have never thought of. Good job Kinzel

Thats almost as tacky looking as some one, (RailrrideR, I think) showed me in the flight-deck forum

I hope it does a good job showing off the water spray, and that there are no spotlights past The Crypt. That would be too high of a potential for interfering with night rides on not only Diamondback, but Beast as well.
Well the lights on MF didn't really bother me, they were actually really cool, but im pretty sure the lights on DB wont change colors, considering the lift supports are yellow, and the lift will more than likely be the only part of the ride with lspot lights, except for mabye the final helix, but imagine how cool the lift would look at night, especialy with the way the supports are all at different angles! Can't wait till Saturday!

Better too large than too small.
yea i use some of my free shirts that are wayyy to big for me as night shirts
-
I had thought about having my avatar made into a shirt, but I don't know if they make transfers big enough.
that would look really cool though!
-
I've noticed on the webcam that there are spotlights near Diamonbacks splashdown, although I only see one. I didn't want to look through all the 481 pages, so i'm pretty sure someone has already noticed. I cant wait to ride Diamondback at night.
I haven't seen those but thanks for saying so! They'l probably be used to illuminate the supports at night, which will look really cool! probably like on silver bullet at Knott's (see below)
-
free shirts are always HUGE, unless they give you a pre-order shirt, and in this case, nobody is pre-ordering anything so probably XL or XXL or XXXl
-
wow I hope those people are okay. My aunt & uncle used to live right by that speedway.
-
^the supports are even more hiddeous in person. From the city-walk it looks like a faded, and very squashed top-thrill-dragster
-
today i am the top 20 poster who will it be tomorow who knows just put in a little imput each day if you are the top 20 poster off the day so untill tomory im woopin ya'lls butt's one post at a time see if you can catch me or beat me*this message was approved by the Big Red Dice affiliation of one, further more he is responsable for his comments and his comments alone capeesh*
^That's the first post on here. It sounds like a waste and some sort of race thing to see who can have the most posts everyday, which in my opinion is a very very very confusing waste.

ZOMG THIS IZ MY 1038TH POST, LOOK AT ME, I WANT ATTENTION AND I WANT IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Seriously.. who cares? I'm going to laugh so hard when this pointless, idiotic, and rather immature thread is finally locked.
which is why i said "well back on topic...sorta anyway...."
I still don't understand the point of this topic...I don't know if it's to keep track of who had the most posts each day or for attention...I never really know what to say on here

Cedar Fair A "Going Broke Candidate"
in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Posted
This is one of the reasons why they're losing money. bad business decisions. I went to that water park this summer and it was so ominous there you wouldn't believe it. everywhere you turn there was an old sea world building, or a fence with destroyed remnants of rides behind it. Not the idea of a place to relax. and the old floating bridge was just a floating dock that stuck out 20 feet to a white picket fence, only to see an amusement park being destroyed behind it. I don't see why they didn't just close off the whole property, sell it as a whole, and ship off the water park rides to more profitable parks like Kings Island and Cedar Point. Hopefully as the economy starts to come back, Cedar Fari will come back with it.
