  1. I'm confused on how exactly that would work for evacuation. I guess we will be seeing this on all the WindSeekers. Maybe, once again, ours will not be open at the beginning of the season.
  2. I'm loving the new changes to the site! Makes it all feel new.
  3. I hope that the "full service" is truly a sit down, waiter type experience. The food choices sound exactly like what Rivertown Junction had in years prior, which makes me curious as to what it really is. Maybe Don can make this clearer?
  4. Usually, a renovation involves bringing something new into an area. Whether it's new pavers, buildings, etc.
  5. It seems doubtful this is a true major renovation. If it were something truly major, like a large renovation of Action Zone, it would have been teased much earlier and more widespread. My guess is this is the start of a renovation of Action Zone, or has something to do with the new German restaurant by Hank's.
  6. Maybe a new red dinosaur? Or possibly some kind of red coca-cola item!
  7. Huge change, but I like it. With the newer forums, the site has gotten quite a facelift.
  8. If anyone else is confused, the ride is Boomerang at Knott's.
  9. Also notice that it isn't, "Powered by Pepsi", it's, "Powered by North Coast Container".
  10. The placement and color choice of the ride just rocks. Even if it's not the best ride ever, it's a great addition to Cedar Point.
  11. I'm considering doing this. I love to run, and this would be a fun run to do right before I do the Flying Pig half marathon the next weekend.
  12. Only way I can see Kings Island being owned by another chain would be if CF went through some kind of bankruptcy. Personally, I don't see that happening for a very, very long time.
  13. BLSC was not sped up by CF. Vekoma rides are generally rough, such as their SLCs and Boomerangs. Overall, their track record isn't the greatest, even with the few great rides in Disney parks which seem to be their only reliable rides they put out.
  14. Field trips got cut a long time ago where I attend, and eventually a trip to Kings Island for school isn't so important as I often go to the park with those I would spend the day with anyway. Now if our school cut a trip to Cedar Point, that'd be unfortunate!
  15. To me, moving such a ride seems like it would cost so much more money and time than would be practical. Either way, we're left with empty space, unless this movement brought something new?
  16. Glad to see it go! Considering that it has had basically no use for the past years, it has served as more of an obstacle than anything. I hope to see some minor improvements in Action Zone for the 2013 season, then hopefully something major in 2014!
  17. In other news, the ride this is advertising has been named as The Smiler. Which is, in my opinion, one of the worst names for an extreme roller coaster ever. I can understand it going along with the whole, "Ministry of Joy" themeing that it has going on, but The Smiler just seems awkward for it.
  18. Hopefully, whoever would be in charge of the landscaping of the area will make it look much nicer than a "parking lot coaster". I can imagine parts of the lot near the ride may be demolished aswell.
  19. ^Aztec Adventure does indeed use water jets, and it isn't as reliable as more modern providers of propulsion. It sometimes valleys inbetween the hills, more often than newer ones. The two times I've ridden it, it definitely feels like you are barely going to make it over the top.
  20. ^It's a pretty great ride, the "tour" part is a little lacking, in my opinion. But once everything goes wrong, is when the ride does everything right!
  21. Easily the best rope course I've seen. Glad i was lucky enough to visit while it was open. Now we can start the speculation of what will be replacing it!
  22. 18 visits to KI this year! With around 8 to Cedar Point.
  23. Maybe you just accidentally caught a mistake!
