  1. Thanks for the link! I was bummed when I found out WindSeeker won't be open, but I am still excited! I'm easy to point out... I have a large ring through my nose (6g septum piercing). Hollar at me if you see me!
  2. I am very excited for this Saturday and plan on being there super early with my Fiance' and his daughter. The three of us already have our passes made and are now thinking of letting his daughter bring a friend... does anyone know of anywhere discount tickets are for sale yet? Thank you!!
  3. I miss the Mexican restaurant that used to be on International Street. I don't remember the name of it, but that used to be our main eatery. Since that being gone, if and when we eat in the park, we get nachos at Outer Hanks. The portion is HUGE and the price is pretty cheap considering how big the portion is.
  4. I don't normally save up for trips to KI, but it's an easy day trip and all I usually spend is gas money which is split between everyone in the car. We have season passes and pack food and drinks in coolers. Next season will be different as we're getting the Platinum and going to be heading to Cedar Point for a couple days... not sure how we'll pay for it yet, probably just start setting money aside a couple months beforehand. Also haven't decided where to stay, we thought about splurging and getting a really nice hotel room, but then we thought all we'll bedoing there is sleeping... I would rather spend the extra money on souvenirs.
  5. The old SOB tore me up. I'm 6'2'' and the old one trains/cars were not meant for tall people. I'd get off and within hours my legs would be covered in bruises. Even so, it was still worth it to me. I even had a hoodie made for opening day... I'd Rather Be at Kings Island Son of Beast (I Want My Effin Loop Back) I would much rather have the old SOB back with the old trains/cars WITH the loop.
  6. The year I went to KI and found out Smurf Village was gone I cried for 3 days. I still get sad when I walk in that building. I loved the smurfs!!!
  7. Definently all of the above. The park wouldn't be the same if it was missing any of the choices.
  8. The only ride I've ever been stuck on was Hellevator, now Superman Tower of Power, at Six Flags Ky Kingdom. It was during the test run in the morning, back when I was working there, and I was at the top for about 35 minutes.
  9. I get about 20 mpg and live in Louisville... that never stopped me from going to KI at least once every other week. We'd just split gas prices with who ever else was going with me. It always worked out pretty good.
  10. I would be quite happy to see Pepsi products appear. I don't buy soft drinks in the park because I just don't like Coke products... I just keep a stocked cooler in my car.
  11. I've never been fond of any Coke products. Switching to Pepsit products would be awesome!!
  12. At least they supplied us with water to drink.
  13. It seriously ****ed me off when I found out they were getting rid of the loop... I even had a special shirt made for opening day this season just for the occasion. When I first rode SoB this year I couldn't believe how much smoother it is. Last year it tore me up. I'm 6'2'' and would have bad bruises on my knees from getting banged around so much. This year, after riding it the first time, I was like, darn! That day I ended up riding about 8 times. I like the new cars a lot, but I also wish they'd put back in the loop... that just made the ride perfect.
  14. Do you mean first rider ever or first rider of the day? Highlight of the year... Firehawk... First Rider. Waited 4.5 hours just for the ride to start working. Definently worth it. My BF and I were on the 6th "train" of the day. I even found a picture of us coming back into the station, we were in the front row, on this site.
