  1. There is also an entrance off of Rutherford which filters cars to the same toll booths as the Jane St entrance.
  2. I think Cedar Fair has made it clear they're not going to do that while said "riff raff" are buying Fright Lane, Skeleton Keys and eight dollar pretzels. Or $9+ cans of beer... (Yes, Wonderland sells alcohol on Haunt nights. At least they did last Sunday...)
  3. Cedar Point made this comment on Facebook, underneath the LJFF announcement:
  4. I loved Bluegrass Jamboree when I visited. Great way to add some atmosphere in that area of the park.
  5. Wonderland's 2014 Platinum Pass price is currently $200 CAD while the other Cedar Fair parks offer it for $200 USD. So if Wonderland is currently offering the 2015 Platinum at $184.50 CAD, I wonder if that means the other parks will charge $184.50 USD this fall. And as for Gold Passes - Wonderland has never had these. The regular season pass offers the same benefits as KI's Gold (with the exception of parking, which can be purchased separately for $40).
  6. I don't disagree. My point is that it's just too, too easy for SeaWorld haters to take this announcement and skew it to confirm their own biases.
  7. Well, now the new orca habitats are "trending" on my Facebook, and many sites sharing the story seem to be directly attributing the habitat expansion to Blackfish criticism. If this is a PR attempt to deaden bad publicity, it could potentially backfire completely. SEAS definitely has a long uphill battle to recovery....
  8. I noticed this when I was planning my Cedar Point trip for next week. With the exception of Midway Market, there is basically nothing but grease on the meal plans. Gross.
  9. Looking over those 2015 plans, I couldn't help but be reminded of Animal Kingdom's Dinoland USA. Eugh...
  10. I'm a bit confused about one thing - what exactly is the purpose of the cables that connect from the top of the arms to the bottom (just above the headrests)?.
  11. Case in point: The other night Disney California Adventure was mentioned on one of the local news stations in Toronto. Why? Because California' Screamin' stopped on one of the lift hills. Riders needed to be evacuated and walk down the steps. The horror.
  12. I misread your post, it seems our opinions of Raptor and Great Bear are reversed.
  13. What's wrong with Great Bear? It's a pretty fantastic ride if you simply view it as a suspended monorail with inversions.
  14. What were your overall impressions of the park? (Operations, food, cleanliness, would you visit again, and all that jazz...)
  15. I know this is going to sound really stereotypical Canadian, but Tim Hortons just opened up shop in the park, so I'd recommend stopping there for lunch (provided the line is not too long) since they possibly provide the best value for your money in the park. Pictures of the menu were posted here: http://www.cwmania.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2758&start=15
  16. That particular Monday at Canada's Wonderland might be a bit crowded since it's a long weekend, but Tuesday should be much better (provided there aren't too many school groups there that day).
  17. Wonderland's trains changed when KI's and KD's did. They were also red, white, and blue. Not sure why the Facebook "fans" are making a big deal of it, they look like the same fiberglass bodies with slightly more sparkly paint.
  18. I think the size of the track and supports are messing up the perspective. It looks like there is plenty of room for a train and leg clearance to me.
  19. KI's site appears to squish the image to fit the site's dimensions. To view it unaltered, right click the webcam image and open in a new tab or window.
  20. I know, right? It's more fitting a name for a coaster, but as it is, I guess it's better than "Galesearcher," "Gustfinder," or "Breezetracker." These all sound like those amusing news station buzzwords and names used to hype up their "state of the art" weather predicting software.
  21. I sure hope so! It's as if they've given up on doing anything interesting because they know so many people will eat up whatever they throw out. It's borderline patronizing. Yes, yes I know Cedar Point doesn't have to do any teasing at all, but I really do wonder why so many people are getting excited over blurry, likely completely irrelevant images.
  22. But that is just sooo typical Six Flags. Anyone remember the Six Flags New England Dark Knight debacle?
