  1. Idlewild may not reopen though. WAIT!!! Before anyone corrects me, I know im wrong. Sorry!
  2. I take pictures of whatever I can see.
  3. thats true, why wouldn't they run all three trains on beast? On another note, has anyone noticed how long you wait on the safety break for the train to come into the station. Why on earth does the train have to be half-way up the lift before the train can start to roll onto the loading platform
  4. All of those rides opened back up as the night went on. When I rode Flight of Fear at 9:50, there were absoulutely no lights on . it was crazy! you couldn't see your own hand in front of your face.
  5. when Vortex runs three trains, it doesn't really shorten the wait much because the dispatch intervals aren't fast enough to not have a train wait on the block brake. When Vortex runs two trains, their seems to be only a 25 - 35 second wait for the next train to arrive in the station compared to when it runs three times. Edit: Where is my signature and photo?
  6. I really hope they don't close early. I drove up to KI on Friday the 2nd at 6:50 and was told the park was closing early. Needless to say, I was very dissapointed. Im going tomorrow and am really hoping that it is open until 10:00 pm like it is supposed to be.
  7. There are times I really, really, really wish Dave Althoff, Jr., aka Rideman posted here. PTC's made for turns? HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR! There is a reason GCII developed Millennium Flyer trains. And that GCII coasters are so curvaceous. I read his trip reports! I find them really interesting.

  9. most guests coming to the park wouldn't know about the small price increase
  10. i drove 2 hours from Indianapolis to go to ki for a couple of hours. We drove up at 6:50 and were told the park was closing at 7. We still got one ride on Delirium in though, it felt awful as the rain pelted us. Did anyone else notice that Delirium is kind of shaking at the top of its rotation. The day wasn't totally spoiled though, we drove to Jungle Jim's and checked out the former ki monorail. it is set to open this summer. Does anyone know why they have 7 trains, when it looks like they can only run one?
  11. the weather got all nice right after the park closed. also, at guest relations, I asked about the gold pass Ert's and they said that there is one on sunday for nickelodeon universe.
  12. Thank you, I've always wondered about that
  13. From what I understand, the Original FOF had 4 trains. FOF could only operate three trains on its circuit. As a result of this, the fourth train was used for maintenance/service for the other trains. I believe that 3 of the original 4 trains were transitioned from OTSC to lap bars. Today, there are 2 trains that run on the circuit normally. The third train is used for service parts. If anyone has anything to correct, please feel free too. Also, are their any obvios remains of Outet Limits during the ride
  14. Considering the parks admission is 29.99-44.99. I think that people should be entitled to whatever they want to ride, not just the oldest coasters in the park. On another note, my top 5 are..... 1.The Beast 2.AE 3.Red Racer 4.Flight of Fear 5. Fairly Odd Coaster(Seriously, it may be small, but it IS FUN)
  15. I agree... you need to just tough it out sometimes.
  16. I was too.... where were you sitting?
  17. i chase, where were you sitting in the festhaus, i got larosas at exactly the same time you did.
  18. the shed where they store The Beast's trains is gone.
  19. what about thunder run, roller skater, twisted sisters(or twins), t^2, or greezed lightni'n?
